He is much younger than
He is much younger than Novak. Give Daye time to mature both physically & mentally. His jumpshot is pretty impressive. Once Daye gains some weight and improves his work ethic he could be a solid nba player.

potential
i think the word potential should be removed from sports dictioary. that word makes gms make bad decisions. i know someone in the 20s because of that word. that being said, i am not that much against a team drafting austin daye. to me, daye is a risk, but for teams in the playoffs, daye deserves a look.

Having a big agent certainly has its benefits. Honestly, good or bad, can anybody disagree that his name has been the most discussed for the past few weeks? All part of Bill Duffy marketing him, and to be honest im really starting to get sick of it. The magic word in the NBA Draft, "potential" keeps floating around with him, and i just feel like people are belieiving it because people keep saying it rather than because he has it. I really feel like the only attribute he has is his 6'10 height, but he is a Below average athlete, has accomplished very little and really is essentially a 6'10 good but not amazing jump shooter. I dont see who he will guard. He isnt strong enough to guard ANY legitimate small forwards or powerforwards at the next level, and isn't quick enough for most 3's either. I really implore of anybody here to tell me one thing that makes him a better prospect than Steve Novak from Marquette was a year or two back?
