Sorry if this has been discussed a lot before – I havent been on this forum in a while…

But what is the general consensus in here about Daye? Because there is no consensus anywhere else (ie: internet, tv, etc)

I think he’s soft and surprisingly unathletic for a man of his talents and would not waste a lottery or even mid-first rounder on him. Maybe in the bottom 5 of the first or in the second. But some sites have him as a borderline lottery pick?

Anytime a 6’10” player shoots 43% from 3pt he is going to go pretty high in the draft especially being so young.

he has so much potential thats why teams in the lottery are wasting there pick on him to hope he can become something special.

I think Daye a little more athletic than his combine numbers said because he had an ankle injury. Most of us here are afraid our favorite team has gave him a promise in the first round.

I think he will go top 20.

Well i suppose we’ll see but its just funny that so many outlets have him in such radically different places in mocks.

Granted, the only thing that matters is the actual draft, but still…

He’ll be a mid 1st rounder because he has an interesting skill set and great size. I think that the mid-1st round is too low for a player of his talent and that projection speaks to how much teams dont like his workouts and intangibles

I think his game will be like Rashards…he would have to fill out big time to ever see anytime at 4, he weights less than Lawson and Flynn despite being a foot taller.

daye is a good sf he’s very good first rounder hell probably be 15th
