Im sitting here with a friend of mine and were both somewhat shocked at the lack of interest NBA teams have seemingly been showing Arron Afflalo. What exactly is going on, and does anyone have any updates on his situation. Were trying to figure out why he hasnt been signed. Is his price tag too high or what. And im on a computer in lisbon portugal so i cant really figure out where the question mark button is lol. thanks for any info

 Beats me, Nick Young and Arron Afflalo seemed to be top10 free agents, both are young, have great potential and still there are no rumours at all. I’m with you on this one

Afflalo is a restricted free agent,Denver was willing to wait to see what type of offers he’ll get from other teams..The Cavs were interested in him…But Word is Afflalo and his agent were asking for more then he’s worth,so they decided tor resign Parker….Afflalo’s a nice defender,good spot up shooter, but a little overrated,he’s better suited for a reserve role,even though he’s capable of starting for limited games..

 

And AP is reporting the Nick Young have accepted the Wizards 1 year offer and will sign it today…

Afflalo will probably re-sign with the Nugs, from what i’ve read. He will probably also be grossly overpaid. He is such an average player, I cant believe he is generating the hype/respect/buzz/whatever he has been getting in free agency. He’s an efficent shooter, that’s it. He only averaged .5 steals last season, about the same as the notoriously lazy Al Harrington averaged in less minutes, why does this not worry people. Hes not a lock down defender, he’s average, even a little soft from what i see. He takes smart shots and makes them, doesnt rebound or pass very well, is not very athletic. He is about as good as Anthony Parker, but I hear he is going to sign for close to 10 mil a season. Crazy.
