princejamesParticipantI’m not really into all of the aquille carr hype, but one thing that I cannot deny when I watch aquille carr play, is that he really plays alot like a young allen iverson. And I truly wish that the basketball gods would of made aquille carr alot taller. So he could have better opportunities to dominate games against higher levels of competition ( NBA ). But Aqille will most likely be a very good and entertaining player to watch play in college

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantIn almost every facet of the Game too…
Iverson was a once in a generation type of talent, he just got too into his own Image and let the Stardom go to his head…
The only real comparision the two players share is that they were both arrested in H.S…
Carr is 5’6 Ball Hog that will not be fundementally sound enough to get 20 minutes in College
Allen Iverson was the leader of a tough George Town team and he became the # 1 overall pick in a draft class that had Kobe, Nash, Ray allen, Abdul Rahim, Camby and Stephon Marbury…
I’m sorry to bring this back up But This kid will not make it to the NBA, and if by some chance I’m wrong then I will eat my words later on and say sorry for ever doubting him in the first place…
I do think he’s talented, no one with eyes can deny that, I do have huge reservations about his long term success
Sometimes guys get taken out of their element and don’t ever live up to their potential, how will he adjust to playing in a Structured Enviorment with other talented guys taking the bulk of the shots and handling the ball more than Him, he will not be given the same freedom in College…In fact I think he’ll struggle against the NCAA talent

F_Sthere is no doubt in my head, if this kid was 6’1 he would be the number player in the nation over andrew wiggons, randle WHOEVER… and the amount of hype he would be getting would ridiculous.

SiggyParticipantThere is no NBA comparison for him since players like don’t make it to the league.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantHood guards are easy to find and fun to watch, Chi Town, Philly, New York and B More, places like that. But when they get to college thats when you find out how good they are. I would compare Aquille to Bassy Telfair.. Aquille is exciting. If yall remember Bassy in high school took it to the rim with will, and so does Aquille. They both cant really shoot and they are super exciting, Aquille is smaller but prolly has the same heart. Also Bassy had great vision, Carr does not from what i seen. If Aquille can develop a jump shot, i see Maybe a Jameer Nelson type player. But he is small and IMO i see him at Seton Hall as a four year player like Jameer, but more like Peyton Siva, exciting player.

FastAndFuriousParticipantAquille Carr is an extreme talent, whoever thinks he wont play a great deal in college is crazy, in todays game speed kills, and Carr has lots of it combined with ELITE ballhandling and knowing how to play the game.
