F_Sthis video is about to hit a million views in less than a week. for a HS prospect that’s gotta be some sort of record. add to the fact that he most likely wont make it

bobforteParticipanthighlights are great but reminds me too much of telfair
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/28/2012 - 7:35am #709813
So raspyParticipanti dont see telfair in any way. I dont really see any comparable player, his athleticism and handle is at another level. At this point he’s impossible to stay in front of. If hes still able to attend Seton Hall after everything, I hope, and expect, to see him to dominate college pg’s.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThis guy has moves for days. He can shake his own shadow

niQParticipantThey don’t call him the "Crimestopper" for nothing. They say when he plays, crimes stop in Baltimore.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/28/2012 - 9:14am #709834
Sewok15ParticipantThe "Crimestopper" was a crime committer six days ago when he was arrested for Domestic Assault. I just hope he doesn’t keep messing up because I need to see this kid play in college and the pros…he is fun to watch!

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantHe’ll never be in the NBA guys…enjoy these while they are still fresh in your minds, he’ll be at a street court near you very soon…

thparadoxParticipantHe’ll never be in the NBA? On what basis do you say that?
He’s obviously very talented. If he gets the defense / shooting right, I think he’ll make it.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/28/2012 - 10:03am #709851
SiggyParticipantHonest question for people familiar with both names, what makes him more of an NBA prospect than Kiwi Gardner (who I don’t think is a future NBA player either)?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 08/28/2012 - 10:17am #709853
providencefriars1ParticipantKiwi Gardner left Providence because he wasnt good enough for the Big East so there is no way he will be in the NBA. From what I understand Council and Cotton dominated him at practice and it was clear he was over his head.
0- Posted on: Tue, 08/28/2012 - 10:21am #709854
SiggyParticipantWas he even able to practice if his eligibility was under investigation and was subsequently ruled ineligible?
FWIW, I think in a more organized, structured setting where Aquille’s not able to do everything he wants to do on the court, he’d be in over his head as well.

cuseflynn10ParticipantLook at the 2:23 mark. He squeezes between the two defenders and lays it in. Excellent court vision and body control, combined with a great ability to finish at the rim.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI have personally seen far too many players like him IN THE REAL WORLD…All you need now a days is a Youtube Mixtape to make it in the NBA…Questions…Can he shoot from outside 15 feet, can he make the simple pass, the right play, can he play ANY defense, can he put on weight and not slow down in College, how will he play when a Team isn’t In awe of his skill???
Can he be a late 2nd pick someday, Sure, guys with less talent have been drafted before, But he’s already been arrested and hasn’t played 1 college game…that’s not a good sign…He’s been red flagged already and he’s not even a Top 50 H.S / NBA prospect…
But hey, his Mixtapes have made you all believers in his NBA prospects…I will take the bet that He’ll never make it to the NBA, who’s want to bet me that he WILL make it to the League…
0- Posted on: Tue, 08/28/2012 - 5:55pm #709974
WizardofOzParticipantHe’s exciting to watch but he’s small, wild and plays like he has no conscience. He can join whatever today’s equivalent of the And1 tour is whenever he’s done with school, which could be sooner than later.

providencefriars1ParticipantKiwi is going to Southern Idaho Juco… these practices occured when we were waiting for the NCAA’s decision

FastAndFuriousParticipantKiwi is not going to CSI, he was released from his LOI there and will be playing for Providence this year.
@ScareCrowRises:
Aquille Carr must have destroyed you or your son in b-ball, your hate for this young man is oddly weird, him making it to the NBA may be tough, but you saying he wont play in college is crazy(Which you said in other Aquille thread) he got an offer for 750,000 in Europe, you really don’t think he will be able to compete in college?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/29/2012 - 12:51am #710081
providencefriars1ParticipantFast and Furious trust me Kiwi is not at Providence
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/29/2012 - 7:41am #710135
seniokasParticipantHe is not at Providence, you can read an article that is on nbadraft.net main page among news. Also, that 750.000 offer is a complete nonsense made up by media. Club’s ( it was Virtus if I remember it right ) managment declined it. There weren’t any offers, not even talking about 750.000.
Honestly, I would love to see this kid successfull. I mean, mostly every of us is rooting for underdogs, for undersized guys, for guys that break entrenched ”thruths” or whatsoever. It makes us feel good when we see a person who succeeded despite all odds being against him, that’s how it is. Still, I see little chance of him making it to the NBA and this accident definitely doesn’t help him. It would be really interesting how would he play if he played in prep school like Tilton, Brewster or… where competition is much higher than usually at high-school level, and there is many D1 prospects which could show us how would he play in college.

SubZeroParticipantHe’s a crazy exciting high school player, but he would get swatted so much in the NBA. He’s always getting in the paint, and most every team in the NBA has a 7 footer waiting by the rim, not to mention people like Lebron, Ibaka, and Josh Smith who love chasing people down to swat them from behind. I don’t see him really making it in the NBA
0 - Posted on: Thu, 08/30/2012 - 4:45am #710643
PureshooterParticipantI can see him playing for And1.

theballerwayParticipantDid any of you guys no that the woman yes woman/ baby mother who charged him with assault was 26. not no you kid, an oppurtunity grabbing WOMAN who like any agent/handler is trying to find a ‘way out’ thru AquilleCarr. The fact that they have a child indiocates that she may actually have committed sexual assault by sleeping with HIM. But no she went to the police with no marks or injuriys what so ever and filed a charge which the police have nop choice but too act on.
Just a few missing fact.
All the best to him. never trust a big butt and a smile
0- Posted on: Fri, 09/14/2012 - 5:32am #714157
SiggyParticipantI don’t even get what you’re trying to say. If he is her "way out," how does she benefit by putting his career in jeopardy?

theballerwayParticipantWhat i am saying is that 25/6year old women dont general go for and have kids with 17yr old high school boys. Im sure hes a charming young man but in my eyes shes very likely to be a hanger on. what her motivations could be I dont know, maybe he found a younger chick.
Just my opinion based on a few more details I became aware of.
0- Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:04am #714553
SiggyParticipantI don’t wanna get all TMZ on you but word is that she is the one who wanted to break it off with him and he didn’t take too kindly to that.
"Hangers on" don’t usually try to break up with or jeopardize their meal-ticket’s career before they’re able to make some money.

theballerwayParticipantthey got a kid right? shell always be there then. But since its all speculation.
I guess we’ll leave it the ‘official’ report if/whenever thats released.
Just hope he gets t play really
