    I use to have respect for Pat Riley but after what he did to Stan Van Gundy and now what he will eventually do with Spoelstra, it’s really ashame. If your going to be coach you have to stick with a team through the bad and the good. You can’t just join a team when you want because it benefits you, I just don’t like how Pat is going about things.

    If I was a aspiring head coach, I wouldn’t go to Miami. We also forget Riley’s history

    That was flatout wrong what he did to Van Gundy…..
    Riley was fired by the Lakers…Magic lead a group of players against him..They were tired of his excessive practices..After 1 practice it was rumored that A.C. Green had problems breathing…Everyone thought he was going to die..This really happened..

    Get over it. Stan Van was a choker then, he couldnt be trusted with that team. Spoelstra is a clown, nobody listens to him. He basically makes substitutions with the help of his assistant and lets Wade do whatever. Of course Riley is going to coach this team, who wouldnt?

    there is no way Spolestra is ready to coach 3 superstars. hes to young. Miami needs someone like Riley to step in so those 3 will actually listen. Van Gundy was struggling a little bit. I admitt it was messed up but Van Gundy was a choker just like Shaq said hes “the master of panic”. I want to see Riley coach again. Hes a legendary coach but i also want Riley to take Spolstra under his wing and make it clear to Spolstra that he will be coaching this team again after a few seasons once Spolstra learns to handle a team like this with so much star power

    i dont hate the guy. i jus think he takes advantage of things when the time presents itself. seeing as i dont think the heat will win the title this year i dont see riley tryin 2 take over becuz i think the heat need a year 2 gel and find their role player pieces. but trust me when they get that rite its over for the coach. the 1 positive he should tak eout of this is that he will get another chance to coach sumwhere else like van gundy and will most likely be successful.
