aamir543ParticipantI don’t want to be like Filapino Ella or Euro Baller and only post about one pace or ethnicity, but I also want to know whether there are any young Indians out there that could play college or NBA ball. We all know about Satnam Singh, and the Bhullar brothers, and how do you guys think those three will pan out. Other than those three, do you think there are anyhopefulls out there(outside of I may be Based, Toronto Raptors10, and Myself) that could burst onto the scene? This is the Indian National team Wikipedia page.

I May Be WrongParticipantI dunno man, our country only has cricket on lockdown lol. I think the country is a far aways from being threats in any sports but at least we have outsourcing technologies, medical practices and slurpees and metro PCS covered
On a semi-related note, I remember reading about Pasha Bains. He was a terrific player for his schools in Canada. He knew how to score and had a decent shot. I don’t know much about him but he went to Clemson for a couple of seasons and I think an injury got the best of him. I dunno, maybe someone could tell me about Clemson back around when he was there if the name sounds familar?
Here’s an article of his accomplishments and what he’s doing and another video of his UBC highlights.

aamir543ParticipantSpeaking of Cricket, I find it funny how I can’t hit a baseball for my life even though I played when I was young, but yet the second I pick up a cricket bat, I’m hitting it all over the place. But on the bright, side we are Cricket World Cahmpions.

torontoraptors10ParticipantA lot of Indian talent in Canada.
Sim Bhullar and Tanveer Bhullar from Toronto
Basha Bains in British Columbia
Google some talent in Toronto and the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) (Mississauga, Brampton, Malton, Oakville) You might find some there and look up some Indians in British Columbia, there are a lot of brown people there.

torontoraptors10ParticipantAlso, there is this Indian guy Singh Bhamara, Satnam who plays in Florida right now. He’s 16 and he’s 7’1. He can barely speak English and he started playing there a year ago I think

OMARtheLEGENDParticipantPasha Bains has somewhat of a cult following in B.C. especially in surrey, where i live. Apparently injuries and a attitude problem at clemson were the reasons why he never panned out in D.1 ball. He was a natural scorer with range and he dominated the C.I.S. Now he coaches a AAU team out of B.C. If youre looking for a lesser known indo-canadian prospect look up manroop clair he has game and will be going to play Highschool ball in the U.S. next year.

FilipinoEllaLOL, its FilipinoElla for u, hehehe,
hmmm, im watching FIBA asia. and i see india not competing at the levels of iran and china, they listed a small forward at only 5’9, they cant compete this year,
though im afraid of india in the years to come, if they acquire the Bhullar brothers and if singh would play, they would be a contender, in asia being a tall team means you are a threat, look at iran, they have haddadi, china, they have wang zhi zhi,

llperezaamir lost my respect when he said that if you are not of asian or indian decent, then you are probably not as smart as them.
Its one thing to be proud of your heritage and another to be down right racist.

KIDDAA MAGAZINEParticipantLets get a couple things straight Pasha Bains stole a laptop during his days at clemson and theirfore got EXPELLED. he wasnt good enough to make the NBA. I SPOTTED him at one of my games a while ago vs athelite and he was horribly out of shape beer belly sticking out swollen face if anyone thinks that puggy overweight dude had a shot at the nba i would tell you to get yourself evaluated ASAP. He wasnt what he used to be. That said the same happend with BOL KONG he stole a laptop at school (GONZAGA STATE UNIVERSITY) for his own personal endevours (sudanese p*rn) little did the goof know they had a tracking software on it so when BOL logged on to his residence wifi network the campus boys at GONZAGA nabbed him. As for Manroop clair well hes just too skinny he will never be able to gaurd thick meat hungry black kids who grew up in the "jects" their pretty much RUNNING BACKS like a bunch of reggie bush’s on each top 64 ncaa div 1 school PG – TO – SG and roop claire plays SG THATS HOW THICK THEY ARE. … that said manroop claire plays against very weak compeititon out here and some may say oh well he wen down south and he did well! wishfull thinking he played VS BUMS go to murray park aka "MURDER PARK" IN CHICAGO ILL and tell me how many he drops their …. yes the home of D rose. roop claire has been playing against bum teams chalk full of pin white kids all his life anyone thinking he will make Div 1 is crazy and lets just say he did make like a school ranked 248th well hell be the bench boy getting ZERO TICK only time he will get will be in scrimmages. thats how thick they are. Any distant fantasy you guys have of seeing an indian play in the NBA IS a mere fantasy NOT IN YOUR LIFETIME. ITS JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. NO INDIAN HAS EVER BEEN HUNGRY ENOUGH…. IF THEY HAVE BEEN THEY LACK THE BASKETBALL IQ AND OR THE FRAME TO PLAY BALL IE HEIGHT WEIGHT BUILD LEAP QUIT TALKING RECKLESS AND GO MAKE A RUN FOR THE NBA YOURSELF AS YOUR ALL PROBABLY INDIAN AND EVALUATE YOU WILL COME TO THE SAME CONCLUSION THAT ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN. AS FOR THOSE 2 SLOPPY MONGOOONS SIJMRAN AND THE OTHER JOKER WELL KEEP DREAMING THE D LEAUGE WOULD BE LAUGHING AT THEM LET ALONE THE " LEAUGE" NBA>< . THEIR SLOPPY OVERWEIGHT NOT AGILE NOT ATHLETIC AND SLOW. THEY WONT GET A SPOT IN ANY OF THE TOP 5 LEAUGES ABROAD THEY SHOULD TRY OUT FOR SOME LEAUGE IN INDIA MAYBE GET A SPOT. THAT SAID IM OUT BRING ON THE HATE JUST MAKE SURE U TOOK NOTES ITSSSSSSSSSSSS NOT GONNNNNNNNNA HAPPEN IN UR CURRENT LIFE NOR THE NEXT 9 LIVES !

torontoraptors10ParticipantYou really said that about brown people??
"aamir lost my respect when he said that if you are not of asian or indian decent, then you are probably not as smart as them.

I was born and raised a Canadian, but I have south asian parents. I’m Canadian FIRST, then south asian SECOND. There is one thing to embrace your culture but to be patriotic and ignorant of others is dumb. You just seem close minded and ignorant of other cultures. Everyone alive has something to contribute to the planet, just because you’re Indian doesn’t mean you’re smarter.
With that being said, being patriotic only leads to egoism and you’ll eventually have people turning against you. Becareful what you say because the worst things you say people will hold that against you.

HitsterParticipantBig shout out to the Indian Cricket team for their triumphant tour of England this summer which went as follows:-
Tests Played 4 Lost 4
Twenty-20 game Played 1 lost 1
One Day Internationals Played 5 Lost 3 Tied 1 No Result 1
So England were 8-0 up on them in international games this summer and are now Number 1 Test Team in the world.

I remember that, and it was a pretty stupid comment, and I didn’t mean to offend anyone, and I apologize for that, and I am not racist.
And as soon as the lockout is over I will probably stop posting so much about race, so don’t worry.
