Anthony Davis' mom wears unibrow mask

Everyone wonders how did Davis just sprout like that. His father is not all that short. He is about 6'4 and his mother is a 6 footer.Usually if your mom is in the 5'10 or taller range you will end up with some good height.And that unibrow makes him unique so I doubt he shaves it.
It will grow back, quickly. Plus, my guess is that he is doing just fine with the ladies right now being the 6'10, possible college basketball player of the year and probable first pick in the 2012 draft. It definitely makes him stand out and I was just waiting for something like this to happen, thought that it would get played up eventually.
Good idea by the mom, it is funny and I am guessing if he keeps doing well, it catches on. His unibrow is different, but sometimes different is not all that bad. If these masks catch on a bit, which I think they entirely could (I was even thinking a headband or something more comfortable), than this just boosts his profile and marketability. For as much as people say he is overhyped, he is still a great story and has had a fantastic freshman season. I do not know if he is sure thing, but I think he has a really bright future in the NBA.
haha I think mikeyv nailed it. I always wondered why Ant Davis never shaved that unibrow... now I know. It's genius for marketing. It makes him unique and could help him stand out even more. I never thought an ugly patch of hair could help someone get rich.
Jorrye, I know how much you have despised him as a prospect because of his unibrow! You have never embraced the brow! He was born with it, homes! If he did not have it, I do not know if he would look more normal. Have you seen dudes teeth? He is a unique looking character, to put it mildly.
What I will say is, people who have unibrows tend to embrace it because of how difficult it is to maintain it. You don't cut your hair everyday. You may shave everyday, but if you try to shave the middle of your eyebrows or tweeze it constantly, it probably sucks. Meanwhile, this dude is making it cool.
Unless you have a unibrow or are an esthetician, lay off the dude Nixon! Embrace the brow! Not every prospect can be as charming in the looks department as Andre Iguodala or Jacob Pullen :)
Just threw that last one of Okur in there, because he is close to that territory. But, as reluctant as I was about it, honestly it was an elephant in the room, I think the brow is cool. Davis pulls it off and people will have to get used to it. "Bow to the Brow"! Lots of sarcasm here, I hope people are getting, but I truly believe JNixon will show up to a game with giant novelty tweezers to try and get in Anthony Davis' head.
