ChrispyParticipantDavis has 26 pts and 13 boards in the 1st half against Drummond and the Pistons. When he plays like this it makes you wonder why he hasn’t been more consitent this season. 2nd half starting soon…

ChrispyParticipantfunny, but also sadly true. Is he coddled or just a soccer player disguised as a basketball player?

alex23Participant59 points and 19 boards…. with 41 seconds to go in regulation, DeMarcus needed Overtime to drop 56 , holy.

ballislyfe25ParticipantAnd to think Lillard had 51 in 31 minutes against Golden State…
Great performance by Davis. I think the Pelicans would be in contention for the 8 seed again if they were fully healthy with AD probably in MVP talks.

ChrispyParticipant1 point shy of 1st player with 60 and 20 in 16 years. Oh, well. Think he’ll take the 59 and the W!

ExumInfernoParticipantPekicans win because of Davis, only Jrue helped a bit with 20.
Free throws can be huge, Davis is 9 0f 10, Drummond is 3 of 10, New Orleans wins by 5.
Drummond is a great player, but he does have that one weakness. That Davis played so well against Drummond shows how big Davis is for talent.
Pelicans can still make the playoffs. Davis, Holiday, Anderson shooting like he usually does, they are a chance if they get some wins together. They could go 3 and 1 over their next four games.

HitsterParticipantAmazing performance for a big man who doesn’t shot a lot of 3 pointers and who didn’t have OT to inflate his gametime.
Off the top of my head it’s the best frontcourt scoring performance since Shaq passed 60 for the Lakers in 2000.
We all bow down to the Brow.

Chilbert arenasParticipantPistons are sinking in the Eastern Conference fast. Glad to see AD tearing it up though!

asmartin626ParticipantPelicans need to go ahead and blow this team up in the off season. AD is an animal, and as great as the team looked on paper a few years ago when they got Jrue and Tyreke with Eric yadda yadda…this has been an injury prone disappointment of a team that doesn’t mold well. Ryan Anderson is the 2nd best player on the team and plays the same position as the best. I thought they should of blown it up at the deadline and go full tank mode to the offseason. I’m sure they can get a free agent that wants to play with AD and New Orleans is a nice city

DanielcmccartyParticipantI still struggle to understand how you can have tyreke evans, jrue holiday, eric gordon and one of the best players in the game(unibrow) and not be at least halfway decent. I guess all of those guards are ball dominant or arent as good as people always thought they were.

HitsterParticipantThe support cast for AD has often been injured and certainly haven’t performed to the sort of level hoped for. NOP should get a good draft pick this year and might get lucky in the lottery so could make changes.
They don’t need to be rash but anyone bar AD on the roster could be on the trade block. They might not be an obvious FA market magnet like the bigger franchises but when you’ve got a top 6 NBA player and probably the best legit frontcourter in the NBA in situ then it will cause top players to consider going there.
