valentineWhen will his scouting report be posted? I want the perspective of a non-UNLV fan on his game.

SiggyParticipantJust type his name into the search bar. You’ll get different opinions on his game. There is no such thing as a definitive take on a prospect.

Aran SmithKeymasterAll in the works. It’s the end of December, difficult to get to everyone in the first 2 months of the season…. The thing about profiling freshmen is it’s often better to get a bigger sample size as many develop into different players towards the end of their freshmen years. Case in point Jeremy Lamb. Ricky Ledo isn’t even playing this year. The rest you mentioned are ready enough though.

lakeshow22ParticipantI Still say Ricky Ledo is the most underrated prospect in the draft even though he probably wont come out, i haven’t seen a two guard with his offensive skill set in quite some time.

lakeshow22ParticipantAran Smith you should do a weekly chat like espn does where we can ask you about NBA Draft Prospects and get an experts take on it

Aran SmithKeymasterNot a bad idea. We dont have that (chat) as a site function at the moment so I would have to look into setting that up to do it weekly. Another idea would be a weekly mailbag. Definitely something to consider and I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantMy older brother says Otto Porter reminds him of Micheal Cooper and McLemore reminds him of Byron Scott…..If Porter & McLemore can turn out to be as good as those Lakers were…Some teams will be very happy……

mercyman25ParticipantNot to expect too much? Michael Cooper and Byron Scott probably wouldnt have been starters on too many teams, but they played with the likes of Magic, Worthy and Kareem. Thats like guys that play with Nash, look at the Suns without Nash, they even have better talent. They still cant put together a team with that.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantMercyman 25,i’m guessing you are too young to have seen Scott and Cooper play? Cooper was 1 of the best defender in nba history and also 1 of the most versatile…And Scott would’ve been a 25 point scorer if he had been playing on any other team..Well he did average 21 points a game during the 87-88 season and averaged 19 points the following season…While both Magic and Worthy averaged 19 points or more both seasons…..

BasketballJunkie224Participantto get back to Ledo, what the hell is going on with him? is he deinitely staying/playing @ providence next year? seems like he kinda fell off the face of the earth, hope this isnt the last of him

SiggyParticipantWhat could he possibly be doing? He can’t play this yr. It’s not like Kanter’s situation where he was a high lotto selection whether he played or not. He’s far from a can’t miss prospect. Even before he was ruled ineligible he was projected in the early to mid 20s, if he was projected at all. Declaring after this yr would be a huge mistake for him IMO. There is no “testing the waters” process anymore. So he’s either in or out. IMO, his best bet would be to sit out this yr, improve physically, come back next yr and hopefully have a similar impact that McLemore had this yr after sitting out.

LindseyParticipantI’m a little worried about Ledo. Look at his knees when he plays, they bend straight up and down, but more collapse together. It will be an issue for him once he starts playing 82 games seasons. Indicates flat-footedness, and extra stress on the meniscus cartilage.
