    Hello guys,

I was watching this interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqQ6mpk1ins&feature=feedu w/ Anthony Bennett and he said that he sees himself as 2/3 in the future because of lack of size mentioned 6’7. What do you think about him as a prospect and do you believe that he can become a NBA starter and play shooting guard/small forward ?

Personally, I really do like him as a player and it seems that he is kinda smart kid understands that he is probably not big enough to play inside ( even though he remembers me a bit of Dejuan Blair with his long hands and broad shoulders and none could say Blair is a bad player or smth ) he shoots very well even from three but I think the main question is not his offense but defense – could he really become as fast to defend NBA threes and twos ?

I think there’s no chance for him being a two, he isn’t fast enough, doesn’t have a good enough jumpshot and is quite oversized (most 6-7 sg are lanky, he is pretty big)

But if he works on his perimiter game, I think he can become a 3, although he does seem to play more like a 4 right now

i don’t think you have seen or read about what he’s done this summer, He’s already good enough to play the three now and his jumper has been on point especially from the three point line. In a couple of camps he was one of the top three point shooters. Agreed he probably won’t become a two but its not imposable since he is quick and has a high motor on top of working hard
