obviously the article didn’t factor in the re-torn acl injury. But since we have that info now, it’s pretty clear that Purdue is NOT the 2nd best team in the nation haha

Josh Shelby is a huge X Factor in college basketball this year with the type of skill set to make people fall out of love with Kyrie Irving and Brandon Knight.
Corey Fisher is going to have a big year watch out for Nova with Maalik Waynes, Dominic Cheek, Corey Stokes, Underwood, And Yabou.

I think Illinois is rated a little to high, I’m not convinced they’ll be that good and the Big Ten will be improved this year, so they will get some conference losses. Sad injury for Hummel, but I’ll be glad to see Purdue fall, Hoosiers fan here!!!!!!

I like his rankings. They appear spot on IMO.
And expect Illinois to be an Elite 8 team next year. I see them as a top 10 team, at worst top 15, and they have an outstanding amount of veteran and youth mixed together on their roster. This should easily be their best team since their 04 runner-up year.
