paradigmnParticipant#1 baller in Class of 2014…is now #1 in Class of 2013….obviously was only a matter of time
Andrew Wiggins profile and videos: http://prospect-central.blogspot.com/2011/09/player-profile-andrew-wiggins-class-of.html
Andrew Wiggins will reclassify as a member of the 2013 class.
Wiggins is considering Kentucky and Florida State.
Wiggins could then become eligible for the 2014 NBA Draft should he declare after his freshman season.
"It’s time," Mitchell Wiggins said. "It’s time for him (to show) that he is the best in college right now. I think he is ready for the next step. Academically-wise he is doing great. Maturity-wise he is doing great. He has a lot of talent. He is ready for the next step, and everybody knows it is time. It is Andrew’s time. Next year is coming soon and he is ready."
Wiggins, a native of Canada, is widely considered either the first or second ranked high school player.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantGreat! He’s already a year older than his peers, plus im dying to see this guy play in college. If he goes to Kentucky I will hang myself

druneave3ParticipantHe has to go to Kentucky right? Calipari isn’t going to let him get away.
Harrison Twins, James Young, Marcus Lee, and most likely Wiggins. Wow! If he does go there it will be very interesting to see all the guards and wings (Twins, Young, and Wiggins) play, and work together.
I think most people were thinking Randle was headed for UK but not now if Wiggins goes to Kentucky. What now for him?

Bill Walton’s KneesParticipantIt doesn’t affect Randle even the slightest bit; he’s a PF while Wiggins is a pure wing. The best pure HS wing since Durant in my mind. The real scenario would be Young vs. Wiggins for the 3 spot, in which case Wiggins would be the hands down favorite to start. If anyone could pull this off, it’s Cal. His ability to manage ego’s and get his squad of OAD’s is incredible.

druneave3ParticipantIf Wiggins does go to UK, (which seems crazy enough with already getting the Twins and Young, two top 5, 3 of top 10) it just seems almost impossible that they could add Randle as well. They would have the top two players in the country, and 4 out of the top 5! I guess you are right though, if anyone it’s going to be Calipari to pull that off.

HaleParticipantHarrison twins at guard, Young at the 3, Wiggins at the 4, Randle at the 5. It can be done.

Bill Walton’s KneesParticipantThis kid hit the genetic jackpot…NBA player in his father, Olympic medalist in his mother…jesus

Forte IVParticipantI don’t think he reclassified. ESPN would have said it by now and there is an article where his dad says he expects his son to, where you got your quotes from. He hans’t officially reclassified yet.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 10/25/2012 - 9:30am #723271
J_01ParticipantHow I interpreted his dad’s quote is that they have decided together that he will reclassify but that he hasn’t officially announced it yet, which is why espn haven’t changed their rankings yet.

mikeyvthedonParticipantGuessing they should be changing the rankings shortly, as will NBADraft.net as far as HS rankings. Guess it did pay off to have Wiggins #1 in the 2014 Mock.

Charlie SheenParticipantWiggins wants to win a National Title, he’ll go to UK and still be properly prepared for the NBA
If he wants to be the man and all that other shit he’ll got to FSU
Imagine
Harrison
Harrison
Wiggins
Randle
Cauley-maybe???
Young
Wiltjer
Wiggins and Randle have to go to UK, that bloodline is too rich to pass it up.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantEven if UK gets wiggins is not a given they win a title lets get that straight, look at how much talent the 2009 team led by John wall had
0 - Posted on: Thu, 10/25/2012 - 10:10am #723285
kobyzParticipantwhy is UK allowed to get all those 5 star players all at once, NCAA should change the rules!
0 - Posted on: Thu, 10/25/2012 - 10:22am #723287
OhCanada-ParticipantUK wont get Wiggins he is going to FSU. He is a humble kid andhas stated he admires Durants humble approach to stardom and I strongly believe he takes a similar route with Rathan Mayes committing to FSU and his father being so influencial on his every move I believe he goes to play with his friends and family.

F_Sagreed. wiggins will play at FSU

Leonard WashingtonParticipantI think its interesting how Wiggins decides to reclassify the day after Roy Williams visits him. Maybe I’m just reading into it too much, but maybe the Heels have a shot at landing this phenom. Hes a beast though, and the most hyped prospect since LBJ so whoever gets this kid is definitely getting a game changer…for one season.

Bmore_DCParticipantOn a side-note, does anybody know the chances of Syracuse landing Wiggins? I dont see him going there but i clicked MuBBall’s link and saw them on there offering a scholarship
0- Posted on: Thu, 10/25/2012 - 1:29pm #723318
MUbballfanParticipantI dont know the exact chances but I would say UK FSU and maybe UNC are ahead of Cuse. No way of knowing this. On a side note, I know Cuse was recruiting James Young pretty hard and if Wiggins does choose UK Young may look elsewhere, not wanting to come off the bench.
