He also had 7 rebounds and 6b assist in a 3 point loss to the Knicks

     http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=301208018

Raymond Felton‘s tiebreaking 3-pointer bounced on the rim five times and finally went in with 2.7 seconds left, giving the New York Knicks a 113-110 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night that extended their winning streak to six.

Amare Stoudemire extended his 30-point streak to six games in sensational fashion, scoring 18 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter and grabbing 14 rebounds. His jumper gave New York a 110-107 lead with 57 seconds remaining and sparked "MVP!" chants at Madison Square Garden.

But after Andrea Bargnani tied it with a 3, Felton launched his 3 that also hit the backboard once after Stoudemire couldn’t get free. The point guard finished with 28 points and 11 assists, scoring 20 in the first half to carry the Knicks before Stoudemire got rolling.

Andrea has proven he is a great offensive player. his defense is slowly improving as is his rebounding  now that reggie evans is injured. Also small note raptors have same record through 21 games as last year. Do you think he makes all star team this year.

As good as a scorer as he is, it is just crazy to me how a legit 7,0 center with good athleticism only rebounds about 5-6 per game. He good be one of the best centers in the game if he played defense/rebounded. Amare played great as usual and Felton had  agreat game. He has been putting up VERY good stats I am very suprised.

Honestly i doubt he makes this years all star game, unless he explodes like this on a regular basis he will probably need to keep playing at this level until next years game.

If Bargnani grabbed boards, and played great D like a 7 foot centre he is, he would be great. However, getting 5.6 boards a game on a weak rebounding team, is pretty sad.

wasn’t playing aggressive D on bargauani b/c most of first half he had 2 fouls and the knicks cant afford amare getting fouled out

felton was great 1st half doing what needed to be done to keep the knicks in the game second half he became more of a distributor. one thing i noticed is the a lot of his passes get deflected. against the good defensive teams those tipped passes are going to become turnovers and felton may have that problem against the celitics and better defensive teams

Amare in the 4th was absolutely dominant.

Fields pulls down 10 more boards. he had a great put back dunk the got the garden crazy. i hope we dont trade him, hes the type a player u need to win a championship.

another great win and knicks keep rolling next washington then the real challenge starts

Barg would be sweet playing for the deer with Bogut and B.J. he could stretch the floor and make it difficult for defenses

Yeah imagine if Amare was playing agressive d, he wouldve shut down Bargnani like he did when he shut down Love (31, 31), and against Griffin (44, 15).

Bargnani was on fire.  I watched the game and he made a lot of tough shots.  The times the Knicks played poor defense he passed or got fouled.  the shots he made for the most part were contested but dude is 7 feet.  Bargnani is showing that he is a few step below Dirk.  I hope that Galinari can develop at the pace as Bargnani who offensively is a beast.  His defense and rebounding sucks though.  Gallinari is automatic from the line and rebounds better but is the player offensively that Bargnani is right now but in a 1 or 2 years that can change.  The problem is for what team because Knicks seem to be looking at Melo but Melo, Gallinari, and Amare can all play together maybe

Shouldn’t be too surprised because the Knicks are a bad defense. They have played bad teams and are still giving up alot of points. The good thing is they are able to out score these bad teams. ESPN just said the Knicks have the Softest Schedule so far up to this point which is good since the rough patch of the schedule is coming up

Amare, Felton, Fields are untradeable in my book.  Only way we trade Felton is for Chris Paul or John Wall, and maybe Rose.  Rose is better than Felton but I need to know how good his 3 point shooting is before I add him.

Maybe Rose?..lol..UmmmMore like any sane person would say definite Rose. Even with his jumper he’s much better then Felton.

    Rose

    Westbrook

    CP3 Dwill

    Rondo

all these guys are no brainers over Felton

    Curry

Wall  would be better as well. The Knicks would jump at a chance for them. Better players and playing in that fast pace offense. The possibilites are scarey

I loved the Amare Stoudemire moved when it happen. He just loves to play with that BIG crowd around him. Felton played out of his mind, I know it was Toronto but he was hot tonight.

I still think the Knicks need another slasher and big man. In my mind, I would LOVE James Harden. Harden is a guy who can pass very well for a SG and could be that passer who can set up guys as well as Felton. Won’t happen. For a big, I’m sure SOMEONE is out there on the street better then Timofey. I wonder how much is worth a D.J. White from OKC or a Spencer Hawes or a Joel Pryzbilla or even a FA

Correct. No way a GM calls and says " Hey, you want Derrick Rose?" If our 3 is untouchable, then Rose is UNTOUCHABLE

No NYCrealdeal, QUINCEY means the exact opposite. He would trade Felton for Dwill, Rose, Westbrook, CP3, and Rondo. Although as for Curry I don’t think I would. Curry and Felton are averaging about the same amount of points on the about the same type of offense, but 6 more assists. I’d take Felton over Curry. Yes, Curry is younger but I don’t he will ever top 7assists. While Felton does it almost nightly.

Why don’t you think curry will top that many assist?.  He’s a very good passer. I guess i can agree if he is playing with Monta since Monta Handles the ball just as much.

Golden States offense isn’t the same as last year. The new coach doesn’t have them going up and down all night. He makes them play some defense and some Half court offense.

Quincey you can’t read man. Also despite you talking about playing ball, you don’t understand chemistry.  I like Rose but the Knicks offense is build around strong inside, pick and roll and 3 point shooting.  That is why I said what I said.  I am also not a Knicks fan but a fan of basketball.  I have been watching the Knicks lately mainly cause of Amare and possibly Melo.  They were a underdog and made some nice moves and are coming back plus one of my friends is a die hard Knick fan.

He can past 7 but it’s gonna be tough. Watching the Warriors, it’s alot of  P&R with Curry and Lee. Often when I watch them, they try it like 3 times in a row and keep doing it. I feel if they move Monta for a more traditional SG, he could reach 9

how dont i understand Chemistry? neither of us knows if Rose  would help or hurt Chemistry since he hasn’t played with them so that can’t even factor in. what can be factored in is how good the players are. This offense is not different from the one he ran in PHX. You dont need to be a very good shooter to play int hat offense especially if you’re as good as Rose or Westbrook or Rondo. You wouldn’t trade Felton for those guys but I’m pretty Sure the Knicks would. those guys are stars/Superstars Felton is not. He’s a good player though. Who ever you claim to be a fan of No one knows but we do Know the only team you ever pump up,Talk the most about, And defend tooth and nail is the Knicks

You guys can’t read.  I never said I would not trade Felton for Rose or any of those players.  All I said was I can say that yet until I know more about Rose’s 3 point shooting.  I already said he was a better player.   You guys are the same people who most think if you take a whole bunch of All star caliber players they can come together and win.  Chemistry is big and right now even though you guys like Rose better.  Felton’s Chemistry with Amare is on point and Felton’s 3 point shooting opens up a lot of stuff.  I feel like teams could possible give Rose some room  and crowd Amare.  I have not heard about how well Rose shoots from 3 and if he is still slightly better than Rondo on this, I can now say that I would trade Rose for Felton.  This has nothing to do with what player is better.  Felton seems to better Compliment Amare right now and before that Amare had Nash. He did have Marbury early on and still play well but Amare game has blossumed and losing a 3 point shooter at the point guard could take away from game.

Quincey if you read what I said that was my whole point.  You read what you wanted to see not what i said.. I said maybe Rose mainly because I am not sure he is a good fit.  I did not even mention Westbrook who is just as talented to some degree but his shooting is still not there but he can drive on anyone and he has his moments.  I am just a little sketiple of point guards that are not really good 3 point shooters leading the Knicks.  It could work but then again it could allow teams to cheat on Amare.  Amare had a lot of room tonight because Raptor were trying to limit Knicks 3 point shooting.

Quincey that is your opinion on that but the same arguments you use for those players and people said the same stuff about Wade and James not meshing because they both need the ball and neither is a great spot up shooter.  Also it took them a while to get Bosh going.  Chemistry is not so easy as to say you add player A to player B no matter how good.  I guess you don’t know what maybe means.  You got a arrogant mindset always questioning somebody and their sanity when you are rarely right about anything.  You play ball or so you say but you are not an expert.  You don’t tend to say anything nobody else knows but you knock on everyone like you are a guru.  The situation in Miami is enough to question chemistry issues with stars.  They may wind up working out alright it would have been easier if their skills meshed better.  They could have picked up 2 solid player that mesh better with Lebron and Wade for Bosh’s price and would be a better team but yet they took you guys theory aproach with just getting all the best players without regard to chemistry and they are struggling.

i know what you said and i said its not even a maybe no matter how bad rose shoots. He’s that much better than Felton that it doesn’t even matter

Rondo is a even worst shooter and He is also a definite if he was on the table for Felton

Seems like James and Wade are starting to mesh just fine. Only short term thinking people thought it was a bad fit. Long term people were thinking " give them time to get used to each other because new team/ teammates need time to adjust to each other"

I disagree with your Quincey.  Rose is better than Felton but by how much.  Rose is at better talent over Felton but there are guys with less talent that have shined brighter than those with talent.  Most of the point guards in the league are better athletes than Nash but if you had a choice of Nash and some of them you would have to look at the pro’s and con and most of the time you would pick Nash.  Rose will get to the basket more and  have more highlight plays.  Neither one is a great defender.  Felton and Rose may be on the same level as playmaker but Felton may have the edge because he is older and did play for Larry Brown who tends to get the most out of Point guard but not stat wise because of his slow down style.  I am a fan of Rose but you guys are caught up on one thing.  You would think Felton was a scrub.  dude is averaging like 18 and change and about 9 assists and 2 steals and he is improving ever game with Amare so this could go up.  He shoots a good clip of 3’s and take a good amount as well.  Last time I checked he was at 47 percent shooting overall.  How much better is Rose than him really.  I have seen them both play and one one Rose is a monster and Rose is learning to play more in a system but Rose does most of his damage one on one. After this year with Boozer, I can have a better guage on how well he works playing the two man game with his big man.

Miami situations has to do with Superstars and they sure they are playing better but some of this teams that are just as talented but are better put together will destroy them head to head.  They have a losing record versus good teams.  They have had troubles most of time of offense.  I am thinking long term and Felton is 25 I think with tons of years ahead of him and if you look at my comment I said maybe meaning as of this moment I can not say that.  You can’t assume that a player will just click because it does not always happen.  Look at Philly.  That Elton Brand signing hurt them and also letting go of Andre Miller who is not great but a great chemistry guy set them back. Rose to me is a take over guy, I don’t if he is a chemistry guy yet and I feel like Felton is better than Andre Miller because they are close but Felton is better shooter and is quicker.

Look let’s leave it at that because we will never have a chance to prove the other wrong and I stand by my way of thinking and I can show you where your thinking has failed and you can show me where my thinking has failed but to act like you are automatically right is foolish.

are not that big of a deal if you have great players theyll figure it out some how

lebron wade and bosh are starting to click. the only way to improve chemisty issues is to ball on the court. that takes time felton and amare wernt clicking at the begging of the year but  now that they had to to play together in practice and in game there fine

im sure if we traded for rose him and amare’s pnr would be great

I never said that it would not happen but there is not guarantee that it would.   I try to speak on facts not a feeling and right now I have not had enough information to say for certain.  I try not to go off hype.  Harrison Barnes and Miami should let you know that.  Sure both situation could work out but that is to say that Rose and Amare would be better than Rose and Felton and the reason I can not say that is because, we don’t know how good Felton can be.  Felton is 5 years older than Rose who is pretty young.   I included Rose but said maybe because I was concerned about chemistry issues and to me chemistry issues are a big deal.  I see things different because of my experience playing and chemistry can trump talent unless there is a sizeable difference in talent and in this case to me there is none but obviously one person has more hype.

Sheltwon you must have met Raymond Felton before. You really overrate how good he really is. He’s been productive, but the true Raymond Felton is the one that played for the Bobcats. The Knicks style of play is making his numbers inflated, but there are plenty of NBA PG’s besides the ones you listed that are better/have more trade value than him.
