SpacegrassParticipantBig deal he wore a shoe that gave him an extra .5-.75" in height even without that little extra he still was 6’11 in shoes , had low body fat number despite being 278lbs , and a 7’6 wingspan. He won the combine measurements easily for biggest physical freak.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantSpacegrass is angry… Who did you catch kissing your girlfriend man?

TallmanNYCParticipantHey, don’t hate the player, hate the game. If you are going to measure something like "in shoe" height. And I get to pick my shoes. And this measurement is going to effect how much I get paid. You are damn right some "orthodics" are going into those shoes and I’m getting another inch. Without that inch Drummond is 6’11. With the inch he is now and forevermore a "Seven-Footer".

SpacegrassParticipantThe8thDeadlySin needs to go back to his usual of wanking it to "Japanimation".

SpacegrassParticipantFYI wingspan is more important than .75" of height , more little kids worrying about things that don’t matter.

Seamo15ParticipantNot trying to hate on Drummond, just attempting to make light of his w/o to with shoe height difference being larger than anyone else.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantAre you telling me or just everyone else?? You confuse me.. Also, your refrence to Japan means that you have been poking around on the "Jeremy Lin Facts" thread that broke the record for most responses…
I appreciate you reading my work.. I am rather proud of it.. I will be sending you a signed copy of DragonBall GT.. Can I get your physical address.. No PO Boxes please.

SpacegrassParticipantSorry don’t care about your foreign cartoons , not sure what this has to do with Jeremy Lin?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/08/2012 - 11:03am #678787
WizardofOzParticipantI think they should just start going with height w/o shoes.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantSo you havent been reading the "Jeremy Lin Facts"?? Now I am really confused..
If you are basing your opinoin of be off my avatar, I have a question for you..
What makes you think that my avatar is a photo of a "foreign" cartoon??

Memphis MadnessParticipantNow we know where Kevin Love’s shoes went. lol
This is a good marketing opportunity though. Nike can make some Air Drummonds.
On another note, I think Quincy Acy’s numbers were good. 6’7 3/4 in shoes is not terribly bad, plus he had a great wingspan, low body fat, and decent sized hands. To me, he is a mid-2nd round guy and could go higher. He’s a good athlete/dunker with a nose for the ball. Seems like a good team guy and enforcer. You couldn’t ask for much more out of a backup power forward, plus he can play some center when a team goes small.
Perry Jones is a pretty tall guy, especially if he plays small forward. But, his wingspan wasn’t that great.

mikeyvthedonParticipantI agree with Taylor Condrin. Dude, you are not helping yourself, I do not know how Spacegrass came off as angry in his initial response to this post. Plus, he definitely does not need you badgering him about being angry in the first place, as you are not moving towards a solution as much as being a school yard bully. Please stop, dude. Go back to the 8th Deadly sin who gets mad when people make a list of 8 things.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantOkay.. But just for the record, it’s only because mickyvthedon asked me to.. Gotta respect the vets of the forum.

mikeyvthedonParticipant8th, you are definitely a long time vet, usually am down with you on most things. Spacegrass was freaking, but no need to exacerbate. He seems like a good guy and I like a lot of what he says. Sort of was throwing a temper tantrum, but when it gets to girlfriend talk, usually should think twice.

omphalosParticipantHas anyone considered that Drummond might just have enormous feet? Having bigger feet would require a bigger shoe, which would consequently lead to a huge jump in size. Also, it wouldn’t surprise me if he did wear orthotics, and there’s nothing wrong with him having them in his shoes if that’s what he plays in.
Yeah, Drummond definitely helped his stock a whole lot in the measurements. I just wish the Bobcats hadn’t taken Biyombo last year, or Drummond would be a no-brainer.

khaled_a_dParticipantPeople keep saying that shoes add about 1.25 inches ,but the fact is that many big men wears bigger shoes that add around 1.75 inches ,many wears bigger shoes in the combine to make it 2 inches or even more so 2 Inches isn’t that much as you think, and btw D-Howard draft combine measures was 6’9 in socks and 6’11 in shoes Andr isn’t the first or last to wear such shoes in the combine
