From a complete physical specimen stand point – is he more athletic than:
1. Dwight Howard
2. Amar’e Stoudemire
3. Blake Griffin
Keep in mind, the comparison should be at the same age, when they were all coming out of high school.

Physically he’s closer to Dwight Howard, but his skill set will remind some of Amare. He has better hands and offensive game than Howard at the same stage. Drummond is pretty much a lock to be #1 pick, whenever he decided to declare.

At that point of their careers (3rd-4th year), I would say Andre is up to par, if not better athletically, than Dwight/Amare. I don’t know about Blake since I’ve never seen him in high school. All I know now is that he’s a freak of nature right now.
Drummond is also more agile than Dwight and has better handles than Amare

but……it needs another post for this topic….check out AMARE in high school….OMG…absolutely reDUNKulous!!! Plus…think of how FUN that must have been for Amare….I normally don’t wish for anything cuz my mom always said…"if wishes were horses…beggers would ride"…but…I WISH I could play like that for 1 game!!! threw in a bounus video of Dwight from HS also.

To answer your question though I don’t think he’s more athletic than any of those guys you listed, but to be fair those are 3 of the most athletic big men in the league

Honestly, his combination of size, jumping ability and coordination puts him right up there with all of those guys at the same point and maybe even ahead.

his body reminds me more of amare than dwight.. i mean drummond isnt that HUGE now…
he doesnt have dwight howard shoulders…
skill set wise hes amare like mess.eee said
u cant deny his talent in any cents
he isnt raw in the post, can handle the ball better than amare right now, already has a better jumper than dwight…
and is longer than griffin…
but im not saying he will be better than any of those guys…his ceiling is most likely amare for me…or maybe even better… who really knows…. hope he pans out
