jaysmith1987ParticipantThis guy put up 10 and 7 in the big east as a freshman. Better numbers than Deandre Jordan whos a ten million dollar player and good shot blocker. If im sacramento i take him pairing him and demarcus cousins as there version of the twin towers. I kno there both immature but with the right coaching they could be the best frontline in the nba over the next ten days.

ASAP HenryParticipantI love Andre Drummond, i think he’s gonna be a stud. But i don’t want him going to Sacramento. Drummond and Cousins are both natural centers and wouldn’t work all that well together imo. At #5 the Kings should take either MKG, Barnes, Beal, or Thomas Robinson if he goes that low. Drummond will be a stud, just not in sacramento

HaleParticipantI think you meant 10 years, not 10 days.

delfamParticipantPlus Shabazz and Lamb where both ball hogs and never got him the ball, so putting up those stats with not a lot of touches is pretty impressive. Those two guards IMO really stunted his growth and he should really improve a lot when he gets to the NBA and gets more touches.

mosdefParticipantdeandre jordan was drafted in the 2nd round not in the top 10. it makes it harder on GMs that way

draft2017Participantandre drummond and oriaki who were both low post players didnt work well together, if he goes to sacremento he’ll be in the same situation

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantCousins is not only a low post player he can work on the high post if he wants to because he has a good face up game and nice touch on his jumper

AKOOParticipantI hope the Hawks trade Josh Smith for #5. I have hope if Ferry is hired and allowed to run the show that he will see change is needed.

theballerwayParticipantcousins does like to shoot them 15 footers and face up but sinec deummond cant score with his backet to the basket theres little chsnce for much two man game and he sure cant shoot it. just too crowded. saying that theyre both young n could develop

B-ball fanParticipantI’m not sure it is a great fit. As theballerway said, having two interior oriented big men can hurt floor spacing, especially when one can’t create his own shot or shoot it. Cousins can shoot and play in the high post, but he is at his most dangerous close to the rim. That is where he can take advantage of his raw strength and post scoring.
Considering both Anthony Davis and Bradley Beal will almost certainly be off the board, either MKG, Barnes, or Robinson will fall to them. I think those three players would all be good fits for the Kings. They don’t need a raw project; they need a player who can be productive on a team without a large veteran presence. They certainly could use a sf, so Barnes or MKG would fit, and I think Robinson would fit much better than Drummond alongside Cousins.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThese guys will be monsters on the defensive end drummiond is 6’11 278 lbs with a 7’5 wingspan, cousins is 6’11 270 lbs with a 7’6 wingspan in 5 years Sacramento could have the most dominant front court in the NBA
