Anthony Morrow’s shooting storke has been downright genius in his last 4 game, averaging over 26 ppg, over 50% in FG, over 54% from 3-Pt range and shooting perfect from the free throw line AND coming off a career-high 42 points in last night’s lost to the Wolves. My question is, what do you think his potential ceiling could be? A complete guard that plays hard on both ends, spots up and shoots, moves well without the ball and comes off screens, or much less?

I havent had a chance to watch him since his Warriors days, but the guy didn’t want anything to do with defense. Also he only used the dribble to gain rythm/balance not to penetrate or create for others.

He is being used perfectly right now and I see him as a Kevin Martin with a more natural looking stroke.

I think he can have an impact similar to that of Martin, but they are pretty different, Morrow is the better shooter out of the two but Martin is great at drawing contact, he was tied with Durant with most free throws made last year.

Morrow is much stronger than Martin though (mind you, anybody except maybe Austin Daye is much stronger than Martin), so I hope he won’t get injured as much and won’t be as much of a defensive liability.

Martin is still a much more complete offensive player

I got home at the end of the day when all the games were over, and I checked my fantasy team, and I had just picked up Anthony Morrow the other day and when I saw that Morrow had 42 points in 29 minutes, I thought ESPN had been hacked. He went off! And now that Marshon Brooks is out indefinatly with a broken toe, he’s a threat for 18 points on any given night.

I saw a lot of him when he was played for my Warriors,  and I remember he scored 37 as an undrafted rookie free aget, and even though he was basically a spot-up shooter the two years he was here, it was obvious he had unbelieveable range.

I have the YES network and i watch the NETS , one word, Inconsistant.

If his shots are falling, then he is money, he cannot create his own shot. Also like Charles Barkley always says, it is easy to score alot of points when you are on a bad team. Aside from D-Will and the emerging Brooks, who else is gonna get the rock.  They ARENT going to start feeding Shelden Williams in the paint.

Kev Mart is a much better all around player, without a doubt

Since when did Anthony Morrow get Adam Morrison’s Nickname? Not saying he doesn’t deserve it over him but I just thought that was Adam Morrison’s nickname when he was good.

Little Envious of the Nets SG’s right now as a Bulls fan. I really wanted Morrow on the Bulls, maybe not as the long term starter but he can go off any night. Also wanted Brooks in the draft but I really think Mirotic is eventually going to be a huge steal.
