If you do, I would need to know the format and how many teams are involved. Sometimes I just feel like fantasy drives me crazy, I am honestly that competitive. I have never seen the show "The League", but from my guess, I would be one of those people, just psycho about it, lol.

mikey im pshycho about it. head to head, FP version. So that means everything gets added up Rebounds assists points etc. I will probally have assists worth 1.5 to th rebounds 1. and the points 0.5with steals and blocks worth 2. Its still up in the air I just wanna solidify the members.

And its a good thing for you to play, especially, Mikey; because last year about 4 people were active and the ones who were active were the top 4 in the end. so, if you really are that competitive you should do well.

each of the last 3 years i have just done 1 league. It allows me to focus on it and take it seriously. I mean when the games come one, i have the league page up just tracking the stats. I cant imagine doing that for multiple leagues and being able to take them all seriously.

wow, i have absoulutey zero recollection of that post, lol. Either way, i never joined more then 1 league before and this is the first time i have run my own. As for the date, patience my friends. The draft is about 10 days before the start of the season. Thats plenty of time to get things together. Also i was told the weekend befor ewas no good and i really dont want to move it 2 weeks up becasue then we wont see how guys look in pre-season. Also, at this point i dont want to move things around becasue people will start emailing me again to move it around and i think it is good for everyone right now. Besides, the anticipation is good for us.
I don't play fantasy basketball anymore. I've been asked by close friends of mine and I've had to decline. It's a huge time waster and winning doesn't prove you know jack about basketball. It just feeds the "Player A has better stats than Player B, so Player A is better than Player B" mentality.
If I did join, I promise I would stop caring about two weeks into it anyway.
nomoney, you are correct fantasy doesnt prove anything. But i think its fun. Watching guys rack up stats and trying to beat out other people. I just think it adds something extra to the season. I mean, i was watching detroit games and nets games last year becasue i owned jianlian, harris, stuckey and charlieV, no way i would watch those teams if not for fantasy league.

Yes I know this summer basketball (besides summer league and FIBA) is a dead period, so I was dead with it, lol. Now with basketball starting up I am very very excited. knicksfan, im gonna try to find out if anyone isnt gonna be active prior to our draft and if so you will be invited. Im not gonna kick anyone out, but hopefully someone clears a spot. ANd yeah school has been going real good.
And ohcanada, those guys might not be great, but i finished second in our league and beat out jammin lemon in the palyoffs(thanks reggie williams) so take that.
yup lemmon. That was fun playing you. I was seriously sitting there sunday night watching my team vs your team. All of your players were done and i only had williams left and he had to get me 19 points, 3 threes and 5 assists. He pulled it off and i advanced, good memories. Expect much more of the same next year.
the funny thing is though, that the guy who was inactive the whole year won it. And he probably still doesn't even know it!
But yea, you beat me. But, there was definitely some luck in there. I am still mad at Don Nelson. Plus, whenever I see a Warriors player I don't know about on the waiver wire this season, I am picking him up, for all we know, he could be getting 20 per. How would you feel because you lost because of reggie williams? It's okay though, i will get my revenge.
Are Maddie and Olivia still invited? If they're out, then I'm in. I hate them so much. Maddie said that I look like a gorilla, and Olivia always blasts "I Wave My Hair Back and Forth" on her iPod whenever I have to be in her group for English class.
yeah lemmon, of all the teams to make the playoffs the one guy who was not active and made no subs won. He had a sick squad though. I messed up and paniced in the finals. Another good thing i changed in our leage from last years league was shortening the season by 1 week. The finlas were whack becasue everyone was resting their star players in the NBA. Shortening the season by a full week should help that. Oh yeah, and you are playing TLI in week 1 so good luck. The schedules are up for the matchups so you can see when we all play who.
