Decided to switch it up a bit.

1.LAC-LeBron James: Best player to build a team around in the NBA PERIOD.

2.MEM-Kobe Bryant: Backcourt of Kobe and Mayo is fantastic, can’t pass up the best scorer in the game.

3.OKC-Dwight Howard: Howard gives them the inside presence they need to compete. Will help development of Westbrook as well, by being constantly doubled.

4.SAC-Chris Paul: Gives them an all-world pg to run their team.

5.WAS-Dwayne Wade: Arenas and Wade in a backcourt? Wow.

6.MIN-Kevin Durant: The best player available, can play the wing for them and take pressure off of Jefferson down low.

7.GS-Derrick Rose: A reach, but a fantastic option for the run and gun offense, plus he is only 20. Potential is off the charts.

8.NY-Carmelo Anthony: Not a great fit, but Anthony is a superstar in the making and his scoring is a boost for any team.

9.TOR-Brandon Roy: Perfect fit for this team, need a scorer at the 2 guard.

10.MIL-Deron Williams: Can’t pass up the 2nd best pg in the NBA at pick 10.

11.NJ-Amare Stoudemire: With Harris, Carter and Lopez, Amare would thrive for this team at the pf pos. I see a playoff run.

12.CHA-Tim Duncan: A bit low because of his age but gives CHA a very skilled player down low. Can teach Okafor some post moves as well.

13.IND-Lamarcus Aldridge: Another reach, but they need an atheltic big man who can block shots. Alridge is young and has the potential to be a fantastic player.

14.PHX-Tony Parker: They can trade Nash for a wing or pf to replace Amare, Parker is young and great for their offensive style. Chris Bosh is another option as well to replace Amare.

    Thoughts?

Im confused…if this is all-NBA. How could Wade and Arenas play together? They would need to be drafted together.

It is like this. Everyone is on their current team but any player is available to be drafted. I saw something like it once for an NFL MOCK Draft, so I thought I would do one for the NBA.

i think you’re strung out on the nba draft…. so not smoking crack, just addicted to all things draft… which isn’t a bad thing. if that logic makes any sense

i, for one, am getting tired of all the speculation over who is going where. DRAFT, just happen already… That way we can truly start to discuss who will be good. It’s impossible to say who will be good and who won’t when we don’t even know where players will land.

and i also can’t wait to see who gets fleeced in a draft day deal. my favorite to STEAL someone: Sam Presti. I think OKC will have a legit shot at making the playoffs next year (After he does someone dirty draft day)

That is why I made this, i am so sick of looking at the message boards and seeing 40 different Mocks and like Mock 9.1. I already have a feel for who is going where becuase I have seen so many so why do I need to see more? Get the draft over with is completely right.

Yeah I know what you mean. Thank god we are just 8 days away and can finally get this draft under way.
Ha when this draft is over then everyone will start making their way way way to early 2010 mocks.

Where’s Dirk Nowitzki????? You mean to tell me he’s not a top14 player anymore after he averaged 34 and 12 in his last playofff series working his butt offf just to keep his team alive because they wouldn’t step up. He’s the number one PF in the game how is he not on there. Alridge is not better, Duncan is not as good now, Stoudemire can’t take over like Dirk can he can occasionally though. I think Golden State would take him with the number 7 pick.

biggest reason in my mind is defense, but i see stoudemire on there so that goes out the window… maybe he’s thinking about age and potential since it is a draft…

Defense is a problem but its not like Stoudemire is defensive monster. Also Dirk i think he can play another 5 or 6 years since all he does is shoot jumpers players like that last a long time in the league. Unless something bad happens i see him playing till he’s 36 or 37.

yea, i threw defense out the window BECAUSE of Amare. agreed he’s not a solid defender. run that back once cuz that’s what i said earlier.

i’d definitely take dirk, i was just trying to think of reasons why he mighta left him off.

Hahah I kind of forgot about him, he would go where Amare is and Amare would go where Aldridge is.
