Adidas treating Eric Gordon real good...
I'm over this thread... Y'all can have it lol. I was just trying to shout out my boy for his first big time commercial and see what people thought about Adidas showing him this type of love despite the fact he hasn't played. Even I was surprised they're showing him this type of love right now.

I like EGOR and I think he could be really good. He has the tools to score over 20 points a game pretty regualrly.. His only problem is getting on the floor.. I think they should just shut him down for the rest of the year and make sure he is ready for next season.. If I was a potiental buyer of the Hornets, I would do it quick because once other people see that Gordon is legit, they will be trying to sign him for a while and buy the team.
They wont make many good moves because they are NBA owned but IMO, they have some great trading pieces to get young talent to put with Gordon.. Guys like Okafor, Ariza, and Jack could all help really good teams take the next step.. Look for them to move any big contracts this off season and start cleaning house..

This is my Theory on what's happening in This Thread...
It started with Indiana Basketball posting an Adidas commercial featuring one of "His Boys" Eric Gordon, who is a fellow Indiana native along with Greg Oden and a few others that IB will occassionally show love for...
The creation of the post made the point to show Eric Gordon some "Love"...
But some could argue that Gordon hasn't played in a meaningful game this season(Or his career) after being "Hyped" to become an All Star Level scorer and Franchise player, they have turned IB's love into hate towards him and Eric Gordon's new found Financial Success(The Adidas Sneaker Money)...
IB has been seen as a "Knowledgeable Poster" for some time and has obviously ruffled someone's feathers for any number of reasons...
That's where I think the negs are coming from for IB, anyone's he's pissed off with his Indiana Love affairs with players like Gordon, Oden, The Zellers, Etc. Etc...and anyone who thinks that Eric Gordon is undeserving of The Adidas commercial and Money that follows(We do live in hard times)
Most Sports fans can overlook things like the excessive nature of Pro Sports and The Athletes they employ...I think it makes some people mad when they see a player like Kwame Brown net 7 million $$$ in a year when most Civil workers/Teachers/Doctors/Police/Military will never see anything close to that in their lifetime, and they have to work a lot harder than Brown who has been injured most of the year and collecting a King's ransom for NOTHING....

I'm am an Eric Gordon fan but I would find it disrespectful to the people of This PLANET to learn he was paid a few million dollars to film this Promo and wear some ugly ass Sneakers when he's on the court, people are starving to death in this World, we have the highest rate of homelessness throughout our history, there are no jobs being created at the moment and we're are supposed to be Okay with Adidas giving away money to 2nd or 3rd tier NBA "Superstars"...

Why are you acting like I have a love affair with every player from Indiana? I've never had much to say about the Zellers. I don't know much about them, other than seeing them in an AAU tournament or two. They're from Washington, IN which is nowhere near Indianapolis. The only players I talk about are people from the Indianapolis area. And even some of them, I don't really know all that well. There are plenty of players from Indiana that are playing college ball and the NBA, but I don't talk much about them because I don't know them.
Did you play with Frantz Dorsainvil? Just wondering because he played at Vincennes and at U of O. I know you have said before you played at Vincennes and Indiana State, but have never actually been sure who you actually were. I know you do not necessarily want to, or have to, tell us, but I just think we are all really curious.
As a guy who never played JUCO or D1, I am sure you were or are a good basketball player regardless. But, if you would tell us what your stats were or anything about your college experience hooping, I think it would get a very positive response.
I know you said you dunked on Patrick O'Bryant once, but I have never been able to single you out on that ISU roster. Also know that the name you use for fantasy basketball was not on either roster, not that it is possible that they missed you. Either way, the investigative journalist in me wants to know. You do not have to say anything, but I just wanted to ask on behalf of a number of interested posters.
And also lets do a little more investigating on IndianaBasketball. He says he played at Vincennes for Dan Sparks who ended his coaching career there in 04-05 which was then taken over by Everick Sullivan who was there from 05-08. But you only have two years for JUCO so that means IndianaBasketball had to be at Indiana State from 06-07 and 07-08, but Royce Waltman left Indiana State in 2007 meaning he only would have played at Indiana State University in the 06-07 season. But there's one problem on the Indiana State University site there's not ONE transfer in the 06-07 season from Vincennes CC, nor the 05-06 season, or 07-08 season.
