 If they decide to move AD do the Celtics still have the best package to offer? Would Tatum Brown and the Lakers pick be enough to pry away AD. They would have to include Others for salary and probably some other 1st rounders but is their a better package? If it’s not working out I could see them having a fire sale and tank. They would have Brown Tatum Nets their own if things don’t work out with cousins and AD. They could get value for Cousins even as a rental.

bevause you immediately acquire to young building blocks without having to wait and see what the pick gets you. You also get a pick that could be top ten another building block, all while still not being really good which gets you your own top pick. I see everybody saying the pels will never trade AD, but they couldn’t be more wrong, for one the pels have never won with ad outside of a first round sweep. For two if they dint win this year they never will win with him because boogie will leave. Which goes back to the trade, and in all actuality starting over with that package gives them a better shot to win in the long run then they may ever have with ad because with them they’ll never be BAD enough to get a GOOD pick and no young talent already on the roster. In addition to no one coming via free agency. In fact depending on how taytum plays this year I’m not sure the C’s would even offer that.

If New Orleans was willing to take a package of Brown, Tatum, and LA/SAC pick for AD I’d easily do that.  Tatum would have to show quite a bit for me to pass up pairing AD with Kyrie and Hayward.  That’s 3 All Stars either in or entering their primes.

 BKN pick if it’s top two? (Ainge seems too smart and it’s telling me Nets will be significantly better than last few years and won’t be top 3 though). Use IT as a trade piece with S&T. Kevin Love or whoever they trade Kevin Love for between now and next offseason.

Cavs at least have some legit assets now and are a possibility. I hope it works out in NO though and they can build a winning team there.

If they didn’t include the Nets 2018 pick in the trade for Irving. In can be included in a package for Davis. Brown and Tatum with 2018 pick and/or the 76ers pick I think would caught the attention of the Pels, but they would have to add players for AD’s salary

It honestly depends on what the Pelicans want back do they want vets to build around Cousins or do they go full rebuild..

If full rebuild:

Teams you could talk to:

Suns-Assets: Bender,Jackson,Chriis,Picks(their own and Miami’s)

T-wolves-They could get a Wiggins and picks type deal

Celtics:Taytum,Brown,Lakers/Kings pick all other picks are going to be low lottery..

The middle ground:

If you want to keep Cousins and get some good pieces:

Denver could offer Jokic,Mudiay and maybe a pick or 2

Knicks could offer K.P + Picks for A.D and Average deal

GSW could offer Klay and picks for A.D + average deals if they want to avoid Klay leaving for nothing(not likely but he would fit better with Cousins imo)

Detroit could offer Drummond,Tobias Harris and maybe some picks for A.D and some average deals 

Suns: Bledsoe,Bender,Chriis,Jackson and picks

The Star for Star type trade:

PG and Adams for A.D and an average deal.

Harden for A.D straight swap.

John wall, an avearage deal+ some picks for A.D and Jrue holiday-They do this deal to try get Cousins to stay(he has to reup first before you would do this deal) and you move Jrues deal in the process..

But in all honesty if Pelicans are smart they will try clean house bar: A.D and Cousins and build around them with the right coach and players..

 The soft spot in Bostons lineup is definitely their bogs.  Horford brings a multi-faceted game but cant be relied on to score and defend all year.  I thought Nerlens would have been a good fit but a sign and trade is probably the only way to get that done.  Obviously if you add AD I would assume they become favorites.

 Tatum & Brown are nice young players & I seriously doubt that Lakers pick conveys

Not b/c I think the Lakers will be very good but they are Def improved from last year & there are 8 teams that will be actively Tanking down the strecth

I’m thinking that Lakers pick is in the 6 – 8 range & reverts back to Phila & the Celtics end up w/ the Sacramento 2019 pick which might ultimately be the better pick however Phila has a #1 overall protection in place so you can Not get RJ Barrett & w/ Bagley reclassifying that Seriously weakens what u might get in the 2019 Draft Lottery. 

The Unibrow is a Generational talent & he’s Still Only 24 years old! 

I like Brown & Tatum a lot but what is there ceiling? Starter, maybe an All Star team or a few All Star teams & that is Max – Neither will Ever be an MVP candidate & that’s what the Brow is

And Davis is Dominant at Both ends – there is only One other Big man in the entire NBA under 25 who projects to be Dominant at Both ends – NOT good but Dominant on Off & Def and that is Joel Embiid & we don’t know if he will Ever play a full season – that’s how Rare AD truly is

Lok how much Boston just gave up for Kyrie Irving & as good as Kyrie is he is No where near Anthony Davis’ level.

Now Boogie Cousins is a Different story & Boogie would be a Great fit in Boston & would Instantly turn Boston into a Lock for the #1 seed in the East w/ Kyrie & Hayward. I would off Tatum & that Phila pick 2018 LA or 2019 Sac. I offer Tatum & keep Brown b/c Brown is the Better defender & Tatum’s scoring won’t be neccessary
