According to Hoopshype, he has signed a one year deal with the Grizzlies. I mean, he was a former lotto pick and tagged as the Hawks point guard of the future. I thought he was way overrated to begin with, but do you see him doing anything with the Grizzlies?

JNixonParticipantI don’t. That guy bites.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantHe’ll be a third string point guard maybe he moves past Vasquez with some luck. When Derrick Rose was hurt, he had a few decent games. All a team can hope for out of a third stringer is that he’ll practice hard, be willing to work to improve his game, and be ready for the random occurrence that puts him on the floor. I have never read anything about him being a bad guy, he just didn’t work out in Atlanta.

RickyRubio9ParticipantI don’t remember him being tagged as their Future Point Guard, but I knew he’d be no good coming out of college..

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI thought he’ll be a better player then what he’s shown in his 3 years in the nba..
He can shoot with both hands,a nice defender,in college he could play both fast break and half court…had a nice midrange game..not a great 3 point shooter..
If he doe goes to the Grizzlies they’ve found a player thats plays almost like Conley..they need shooters..0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/04/2010 - 11:28am #367703
Da1potParticipantMaybe he wasn’t directly tagged as their future point guard, but you don’t just waste the 11th overall pick on a point guard when your starter was Speedy Claxton…..

CameronParticipantI was a HUGE Acie Law fan when he was at A&M. I loved the pick and thought he’d be great in Atl, but then they traded for Bibby and drafted Teague, pretty much eliminating Law from their plans. I really hope he finds a spot and sticks in the league, unfortunately it looks as though he may end up in Europe

dipt1982ParticipantHe’s jsut another guy who flourished in college and doesn’t transfer his game in the NBA…he’ll be lost and forgotten, if he’s not already, in 2 to 3 years…
