Lotto StudParticipantAside from the point total being irrelevant at the moment, let’s focus on the facts!
Tonight, Aaron shot an outstanding 66% from the field. He was perfect from both the charity stripe 3-3 and the deep ball 2-2. Much respect given on my end for the guy everyone else loved to "hate" this past NCAA season heading into the Draft process.

nick5354ParticipantJust because people don’t think a player is going to make it in the league or meet the expectations of a top 5 pick in a deep draft does not mean people hate them?

Lotto StudParticipantThe word hate was put in quotations for a reason.

Lotto StudParticipantI’m so glad you brought this back to the light as Mikey V did the other day as well.
Now, I will tell you the same exact thing I told him the day of this initial release…
"I am very aware of what I post. I made my observation of I.Q. based on how he handled the situation in that game. Just because I like a player, does not mean I will not criticize him. I ride the hell out of Jeremy Maclin for my Birds and ever since he’s been in uniform for us along with DeSean Jackson, I’ve always said he’s our #1 WR. I’m a critic before I am a homer of any player or team I support. You should know this by now. I made a whole thread about Derrick Rose "Ride The Bull". I bashed the hell out of him to potentially motivate a player I really like. Yes I did say Gordon wasn’t ready mentally. Physically with the gifts he have, yes. I.Q., no."

B-ball fanParticipantI think Gordon was a perfect pick for them. They have an offensive minded combo-forward in Harris who could complement Gordon well, as both have some nice versatility on both ends. And Frye’s great shooting can allow Gordon to play at SF. And Payton is looking like the early favorite for ROY.

OhCanada-ParticipantGordon played well tonight. He is a very savvy player I must say. Big impact all around the court. He defenitely won that game for Orlando in overtime.

ExumInfernoParticipantA Gordon is good for the NBA, lots of excitement.
While I know why Orlando wanted Frye, as they need outside shooters, I don’t think it makes sense as it takes away Gordon’s minutes and also means A Nicholson is sort of forgotten about now.
Gordon’s percentages are very good at the moment, obviously the Magic would have had him working on his shooting a lot after they drafted him. His points per minute isn’t far from the Magic leaders too.
The Magic may have left the draft with the next Blake Griffin and the next Rajon Rondo, so their fans can be happy about the future.
