96′ class has 4/5 hall of famer’s. 2003, has 2 maybe 3. So I’d have to go with 96 class based on that. Still, the 03 players can still do their damage in the next decade. For example, if Miami pans out and becomes a great dynasty in the 2010s then that class will be upraded becuz they produced all of the big 3

you can also add ben wallace to the 1996 class even though he went undrafted. BUt ill take the 1996 class.

Mvps’: Kobe Brynat, Allen Iverson, Steve Nash

other all-stars: Shareef Abdur Rahim, Stephon Marbury, Ray Allen, Antoinne Walker, Peja Stojakovic, Jermaine Oneal, Zydrunas Ilaguaskas, Ben Wallace

a lot of these guys have slowed down towards the end of their careers, but at one time, most were 20ppg all-nba types.

    2003 class:

    Mvp’s: Lebron James

all stars: carmelo anthony, chris bosh, david west, dwyane wade, chris kaman, josh howard, mo williams

top 5 things that the city of cleveland should do to give lebron payback. lol
5- Rename the street he lives in Le’brun Lane.

4-Increase taxes by 25 percent on people making more than 14 million a year for the city of Akron.

3-during home games vs. the heat create a 5 minute video on the jumbo screen on the good times of the cavs without any lebron footage. (will be done anyway but will look funny since he was the cavs.

2-donate all number 23 jerseys from cleveland to the poor in the southeast. (reclaim losses through taxes).

1-You guys and girls have fun with this one!!

add the number one best thing

both drafts were great, they each have players that were franchise guyz at one point
but the 03 draft has poential to make the most impact on the leauge. the only guy to lead a team to a tittle was kobe while the wade has one already and is headed for more with the big 3.

the better draft is the one that had a greater impact on the leauge and yes kobe, nash, iverson were all mvps but wade, melo, lebron, bosh should have more acalades when its all siad and done

well, kobe has 5 rings and quite possibly more. Ben wallace also got 1. And as great titles are, they are not everything. Lets look at the top guys for each draft compared with one another:

1-KObe vs Lebron- at this point kobe has the edge based on rings. Enitrely possible lebron catches/passes him. But its also possible kobe wins 3 more and makes arguments for himself as goat.

2-allen iverson vs dwyane wade-ill give wade the edge based on his ring and the fact he still has many years left. But skill for skill, iverson in his prime is pretty much wades equal.

3-steve nash vs carmelo anthony-neither has a ring. BUt nash’s 2 mvps are something melo might never get and unless melo wins a ring, this edge, from a historical standpoint, will go to nash. Unless melo wins a ring, nash will remembered more in 50 years.

4-Ray Allen vs CHris Bosh-ray is a champion and sure fire hall of famer who will go down as the all time leader in 3’s made. Bosh barely even makes the playoffs until now. I guess if miami wins 2-3 titles, we could give this to bosh. But for now, allen has the lead.

after the top 4, its really not even close. 1996 pulls way ahead with guys like ben wallace who is a champion and defensive player of the year. Peja and jermaine oneal were both at one time arguably top 5 mvp candidates. Marbury, for all his nagatives, was a perenial all-star for the majority of his career. Antoinne walker was an all-star a champion and arguably better then paul pierce when they were teammates. Camby is a solid veteran and fisher will be remmebered for being a winner. If you now look at the next best guys on the 2003 roster, you got david west and chris kaman. That doesnt stack up.

Whenever I see a question like this I just always assume im going to say 03, and i knew 96 was a good draft, but damn, that class is loaded with talent. I think youd have to go with 96 here, top 5 vs top 5 the 03 team might be a bit better, if at all, but as an overall draft class 96 is better.
