I listened to a podcast on espn.com the other day, and they discussed the hypothetical situation where if the Bulls would have been able to dump Luol Deng’s contract and sign the big 3, that they would have had Rose, Wade, LBJ, Bosh, Noah with Gibson coming off the bench. The one guy said that would be an "80 win team". Now i think thats probably too extreme, but how good do you guys think that team would have been?

They wouldn’t be as good as people thought they would be, there would be alot of chemistry problems. Rose, Wade, and Lebron all are very ball dominant and I doubt that they would work well together.

I think that if you look at Miami, despite all the chemistry problems, if they had a blow by PG and a top 3 rebounder at center, they would be unstoppable regardless. Thats what this team would have.

I think if this team was real, Gibson would be getting crunch time minutes over bosh, since they wouldnt need scoring.which is sad for even rupal.

They would have even more problems in terms of chemisty even though they would have better role players… Wade, LeBron and Rose really have same base playstyle which is an attacking playstyle offensively. I mean, in the long run, it probably would work just because of the talent, but I think each of those guys would be more successful individually and in the long run when they have a team built specifically around them instead of just joining guys who are similar to their own style of play.
