midwestbbscoutParticipantI meant in this year’s draft my bad…..

DanEboyParticipantI think he meant this year’s draft. Lol.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/22/2010 - 12:41pm #268641
DanEboyParticipantI don’t really see anyone in the current mock that could be a starter and possible all-star like Arenas and Manu.
I do like Giltsrap’s game a little and Lazar if he falls to the 2nd. Both can rebound and step it out to 3.

JNixonParticipantWillie Warren. If he goes in the 2nd.

R-Dot-13ParticipantYeah I was thinking thats what he meant but I said him anyway..
maybe Aubrey Coleman?

the barronParticipantI’d go with Maryland’s Greivis Vasquez. Another choice is possibly Jimmer Fredette if he declares and i like Jarvis Varnado as a successful second rounder as well.

R-Dot-13ParticipantI think that Vasquez will be a first rounder, but I forgot about Jimmer

midwestbbscoutParticipantHe’s my pick too….I also liked Kalin Lucas until yesterday but I doubt he will declare now…..
I think Vasquez played his way into the first round this weekend….

RickyRubio9ParticipantAvery Bradley, sources say he’s dropped to low first round, early second. If he makes it to the second don’t be too surprised.

DNYCEBiggest sleeper in the draft by far.

RUDEBOYdaaaam.this draft is more talented than people realize….some guys that dont have a defined position like Avery Bradley could slip into the 2nd round and become a star..With all the good big men in this draft..Jerome Dyson might slip into the 2nd round..

scoutguruParticipantJerome Dyson definitely. He’s in that Leandro Barbosa mold at 6’3, 6’4, longs arms is just crazy explosive off the dribble and has an assortment of hop steps and layups to allow himself to finish difficult plays at the rim, sometimes with contact for and one’s. Just like Barbosa though, he’ll have to improve his shot upon entering the league. But he’ll def make an nba roster, he’s just a tough player, who gets after it defensively too.

midwestbbscoutParticipanthe really hurt himself with attitude problems and horse**** play down the stretch this year….
0 - Posted on: Tue, 03/23/2010 - 11:40am #268963
JNixonParticipantYea, Dyson has a poor basketball IQ. It showed this season. He’s pretty selfish out there and he’ll make silly attempts to drive to the rim without even thinking about taking what the D gives him. He needs the ball to be effective too and he’s a tweener. He has some ugly weaknesses that he has to work on out there.

midwestbbscoutParticipantthat’s my new answer for this…..I hope he gets drafted but I think he will….

JoeWolf1Jarvis Varanado could be a real steal very good athleticism a little undersized, but a great collegiate shot blocker/rebounder who is NBA ready on a defensive level. I think he could be a starter in 5 years in the mold of Theo Ratliff.

QUINCEYits so hard to figure that one out because the second round guys suppossedly dont have high potential
0 - Posted on: Tue, 03/23/2010 - 5:22pm #269112
midwestbbscoutParticipantdepend a lot on if they get a good fit with their team….
