gatorheelsParticipantThe second half of the 2nd round is very hard to predict. Which of these players get drafted & Which of these players don’t get drafted? Give reasons why you think a certain way about a player. There are a ton of good players in this list but at least half of them won’t be drafted.
Tyrese Rice
Wesley Matthews
Robert Vaden
Luke Nevill
Lester Hudson
Lee Cummard
Kevin Rogers
Josh Carter
Jon Brockman
Jeremy Pargo
Chris Johnson
Ahmad Nivins
AJ Price
Dante Cunnigham
Curtis Jerrells
Robert Dozier
Milenko Tepic
Nando De Colo
Joe Ingles

storm33ParticipantNot sure about all of these guys.. Jon Brockman is one who I will all but guarantee will get drafted. He’s not that tall, but he’s an insane rebounder and a hard worker, a “Paul Millsap” type of guy that teams will take a chance on.

nyythemooseParticipanttyrese rice, wesley mathews, jon brockman, aj price, curtis jerrells, dante cunningham, nando de colo yes, the rest unsure. Rice had a great career playing against top comp in the ACC and can both run a team and create for himself, he should be a solid backup. Mathews is pretty good shooter who is probably the best of the 3 marquette guards with the potential to get drafted. Brockman is a hustle player who is undersized but has the relentless motor that teams like to take in the 2nd round. (Portland would get brownie points from some fans by taking the local Washington product) Price has off the court issues that but had a solid year for Uconn and has a decent shot. Jerrells i think is going to be a real 2nd round steal and i expect him to go in the top half of round 2. Cunningham has great mid range game, plays good defense and is a high energy player who should develop into a solid rotation guy off the bench. De Colo had a solid showing at Eurocamp and I have a hunch the Spurs or some other similar team will take a flyer on him and hope he improves overseas. I don’t see Ingles getting drafted after his combination of weak combine/eurocamp performances. Personally I don’t know anything about Nivins, Carter, Cummard or Rogers and to be honest haven’t seen their names as potential DP’s anywhere.

Knicksboy34ParticipantGator…what do u think of Jon Brockman to Miami?

gatorheelsParticipantI think Miami will take a look at Brockman. Haslem is getting older and slowing down. I also think Beasley would be better playing small forward. Brockman can at least provide some solid rebounding and hustle. Plus he is an experienced player and should be able to contribute right away. The Heat could use that.
