I think Fisher will play SG next to Wayns but I’m not sure. McCamey should be higher than Knight I think at this point.

Some Sleepers would be Juan Fernandez of Temple and I’m very high on Kendal Marshall of UNC if he gets some time.

JT Terrell (Wake Forest) is going to get noticed. Watch.

    Iman Shumpert (G Tech).

What about Jacob Pullen (Kansas State)? Now that Clemente’s gone, the 1 spot’s his.

I think Kyrie Irving’s game will get shackled down by coach K, because he’s known for that “text-book” style of coaching.

Why are y’all so high on Ryan Harrow? He’s probably going to play off the ball anyway next season. Gonzalez is the PG for NC State and is more of a natural playmaker than Harrow is. Harrow will probably be a 2012 or 2013 guy anyway.

Abdul Gaddy? 2011 draft? He’s pretty raw and I don’t think he’s going to be an NBA prospect next year either.

Demetri McCamey is going to be a 1st round pick next year. Mark it down.

MR.7000 Out of all the H.S. prospects that play the PG position Harrow is the most underrated. Abdul Gaddy has potential but I don’t see him as a NBA prospect until his Jr.-Sr. year.

Ryan Harrow is a combo guard in the Jeff Teague mold. He’s not going to be a top 10 PG next year. Trust me. I’ve seen him play alot in the last 2 years. He’s an exciting player and has a disgusting handle, but he’s not a playmaker, is a VERY streaky shooter, and he plays bull-fighter defense, even though he can pressure the ball in full court press very well. Also is going to struggle finishing at the rim, as he’s very weak.

    Here’s my list

    1) Kalin Lucas
    2) Kemba Walker
    3) Jimmer Freddette
    4) Jacob Pullen
    5) Josh Selby
    6) Kyrie Irving
    7) Demetri McCamey
    8) Brandon Knight
    9) Joe Jackson
    10) Corey Fisher

Harrow shouldn’t be on there and Joe Jackson should be ahead of Corey Joseph imo.

There’s no Isaiah Thomas (Washington) anywhere??

Also, to the person that made the comment about Coach K containing parts of Irving’s game – I think I read somewhere that they’re actually changing up their offense to incorporate his style of play.

i have gaddy as a defenite first rounder, but i think it will be after his jr year in the 2012 draft. I see him putting p like 9 and 5 next year. He has great size and speed for a pg and he gets into the lane well. The biggest thing i notice about him, and i saw it both in highschool as well as last season, is that he can go full speed and still have his head and read the court with precision and make the right decions. He is a natural pg.

Negatives are that he is an inconsistent shooter, he has not yet shown the ability to take over a game. He tends to just blend in right now. SOme of that is youth and some of it is the fact he has some good gaurds around him. I have him ranked as the number 2 NBA prospect in the pac 10 right now.

Maybe in his Junior or Senior season. He does seem to have a good deal of upside if he gets stronger and as he gains more experience, but right now he’s not that good at anything. He’s just got nice size for the position and is fairly quick and fluid, but he’s not a shooter, isn’t all that good a playmaker, and is a very weak defender right now

Abdul Gaddy actually reminds me of Mustafa Shakur, who played at Arizona a while back. I think Gaddy has to get good at something in his skill set to be considered a 1st rounder.

i never saw mustapha as an nba prospect. Gaddy actually has the ability to consistently get past his man and has some good one on one moves. And like i said, the biggest thing i have always noticed about him is that he plays the pg position exactly like you want. Even when he is going one on one or dribbling through traffic, he seems to see the whole court well. It should be noted that me calling him the second best nba prosepct in the conference is as much a knock on the talent in the conference as it is a compliment to him.

From what I seen of Gaddy in the McDonald’s game in 09′. He played poised, he didn’t rush things, he let the game come to him.

Can Peyton Siva be an elite guard this year? I think he has quality.

I love Siva’s talent and how he plays. I think with Edgar Sosa graduating and taking his ball-hogging ways with him, Siva has a chance to be a big-time Big East guard. He’s a little rough around the edges and he’s not quite the defender that Pitino would probably like, but he’s got a big upside and is a huge talent. I think he can be a mid-1st rounder by his Junior year

7000 why are you hating on Corey Joseph?

-He is a winner by nature
-Arguably the best shooter in his class
-Arguably the best perimeter defender in his class
    -An amazing floor general
-Willing to sacrafice stats for wins

He reminds me of Scottie Reynolds with a bit of Stephen Curry but more athletic than both.

    This guy is true.

If theres any knocks on Corey Joseph it’s his playmaking abillities, but if he debunks those myths in his game then he has no real holes in his game.I really think he does have good court vision and I know his basketball IQ is off the charts.

He is 6’2 or 6’3, but what will happen to Nolan smith my guess is that Curry has the potential to be a Combo Guard.

Wow. I’m hating because I have a proven player who was a 20 ppg scorer last season over a freshman? Come on guy.

Corey Joseph isn’t going to be better than Jacob Pullen next year AT ALL. He’s not going to be better than Tyshawn Taylor either. Joesph is probably going to be the 3rd or 4th best PG in the Big 12 next season (Diante Garrett at ISU could be better).

Kalin Lucas, Kemba Walker will be the top 2 PG’s next year.

I really think J’Covan Brown could emerge he really showed me alot of things last year, not saying he is shoe in top 10 but he got some talent for sure.

Duke will probably utilize their guards as both 1s and 2s which is good for them as it’ll show their abilities at each spot.

Once Seth Curry starts to play against the ACC (some good guards there alone) comp, I think we can gauge how good he’ll be. I think right now most of the ‘hype’ (or whatever you want to call it) around him is more related to the fact that so many people slept on Steph and he blew up. I’m not trying to knock the kid, I’m just saying we can’t jump the gun either.

Please don’t sleep on Mike Rosario either – yeah he’s a two guard, maybe in a Clemente mold, but he’ll still be manning the point. If you include Tyshawn Taylor in PG talks, you have to include Isaiah and Rosario.

this year same two names Lucas and Walker looks to be ahead of top pg freshmen but once again by the end of the season i think we will say that Kyrie and Brandon are better..
same with Selby just still don’t know if he counts as a pg..
