NickAKnightParticipantJust did some thinking recently and realized that the Miami Heat have some studs from the 2003 draft…
#1 Lebron James
#4 Chris Bosh
#5 Dwyane Wade
Everyone knows they have a need at Center. Darko was just amnestied. I mean Darko sucks but he’s still a big body at 7"1 260lbs.
Plus Darko would give them the #2 pick from that draft! 4 of the top 5 picks. Why not?
Any thoughts? Maybe a better player they can pursue? With Turiaf opting out I would amnesty Mike Miller’s constantly hurt self and let Shard/Ray Allen eat those minutes up.

NickAKnightParticipantWho said start him? lol Are you kidding me?? Bosh should start at Center. Heat are at their best playing small. Oh yea it would be great to go get Kaman buuut he cost 8 Million. Do you understand salary cap? Maybe the Heat should go out and get D12 in free agency next year…apparently money doesn’t mean anything to you. Be real.

B FreeParticipantYou are right at times in Minn. he looked pretty good even getting that sweet triple double, he would be an upgrade over well any center they have.

mj23mj23besteverParticipantif they could get darko real cheap why not sign him hell the gave eddy curry a chance and its not like darko plays bad good shot blocker solid rebounder and shoots a very high fg percentage

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantDarko has serious confidence issues, if he gets down and out on the small market timberwolves imagine how he would be playing with 3 guys from his draft class that outperformed him, 2 of which he was drafted higher than

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantsigning darko would be a waste, the Heat need an actual big man and not waste their money on a player that the wolves dropped. Bosh and Lebron are fine right now playing PF and C. hell i think joel anthony is atleast cheaper then darko and can defend and grab rebounds
