John WallJohn Wall

Here we present our first LIVE MOCK DRAFT of the year.'s Aran Smith and Adi Joseph played GMs for the entire first round and traded off on picks giving analysis on every selection....

The picks factor in team need and are based on who we think the teams SHOULD take, not who they will take.

Picks were made every 3-5 minutes completing the first round based on the current order of teams (which will change).

Omar Samhan Interview | I'm a Beast

Wed, 03/10/2010 - 5:48pm

I recently had the opportunity to speak with St. Mary’s College senior center, Omar Samhan. Samhan is a powerful inside man for the Gaels who recently won the WCC Tournament Title and punched in their automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Last season, Samhan was disappointed when his Gaels were invited to National Invitational Tournament (NIT), instead of the NCAA Tournament. The Gaels had won 3 games in the NIT before falling to San Diego State in the semifinals.

Inside the College Game | Surprise, Surprise

Charles Garcia has declared for the NBA Draft.
Seattle's finest looks like a second rounder to me, but his very early entry is more important for symbolic reasons than draft stock: Garcia could only declare because the Redhawks are done with their season.
March Madness, at this point, is in full swing. Sunday, the brackets will be brought to you live. Next Tuesday, you can groove into your recliner and check out the good ole opening round.

NCAA Power 16: March 8th

We’ve come full circle here at the Power 16 as the final regular season edition has a new, but familiar #1, the Kansas Jayhawks. Bill Self’s squad began the season at #1 and they’re three Big 12 tournament wins away from ending the season there. Meanwhile, Syracuse might be content to enter the NCAA Tournament outside of our #1 ranking as they’ve held the spot on two separate occasions only to lose it the following week.

Hassan WhitesideHassan WhitesideJohn Wall has had some ups and downs, but shows potential unmatched on the college level. With his tremendous athleticism and speed, he will have a chance to become a top 3 PG in the league someday. While Evan Turner has closed the gap on him, Wall remains the clear cut #1 pick.

Landon Milbourne Interview

Tue, 03/02/2010 - 10:30pm

By Rashad Smith

I recently had the chance to speak with University of Maryland senior forward, Landon Milbourne. Landon is an athletic forward with an inside/outside game that is projected to go in the second round in this year's upcoming NBA Draft. Landon’s has upped his play this year, becoming one of the teams leaders with averages of 13 ppg, 5 reb, 1.1 stls and 1.3 bpg. Today, Milbourne and his Terrapin teammates take on Duke in a game that could decide the ACC regular season title.

Eight of the top 11 scorers in the Big Ten are juniors.

As are four of the top five in the Big 12. And four of the top seven in the ACC. And two of the top three in the Big East.

There's a trend here.

As the conference portion of the schedule winds down and league tournaments are set to begin,
for prospects, the importance of each game rises. Injuries are beginning to mount and attrition is starting to factor in. With March just four days away, here is a look at who has risen and fallen over the past few weeks over the college landscape:
