Overall:

NBA Comparison: N/A

Strengths: Davis is a true back to the basket post player and at 6’9 250 lbs he was able to muscle up and overpower smaller, weaker players. Davis is a good rebounder (8.1 per game) and shot blocker (1.7 per game) and has surprisingly quick hands resulting in 1.3 steals per game. He has a nice touch and finishes fairly well around the rim. A good offensive rebounder and is able to get put-backs due to the fact that he lives in the post.

Weaknesses: Davis is a tweener who is able to push around smaller players that don’t have his bulk, however, NBA centers would likely do the same to him. He doesn’t have the size or strength to defend true NBA centers or the quickness and athleticism to defend power forwards. He also tends to be foul prone and has little to no offensive give outside the post, something that will hurt him when going up against quicker, taller, and stronger big men.
