Session #3 of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), just finished up today, and they have thereby announced the final 24 (out of 40) teams that will compete for the EYBL title in the Nike Peach Jam. The Peach Jam will take place from July 12-15 in South Carolina, and I believe they might be showing a few games on TV.  For those who do not know, the EYBL is an AAU league that features many (not all, but a solid amount) of the top players in the classes of 2012, 2013 and 2014, in other words players who will be seniors, juniors and sophomores in HS next year.

Here are the teams from each division that made the Final 24 of the Peach Jam:

My team has played that BABC team. You dont want to mess with them, they beat us 103-20 and from what I hear we did better a lot of teams against them. Every player on that team is going to play D-I college ball. I’ve seen Albany and the Playaz play and they are both for real too.

Team Takeover is very good and they have a lot of very under-recruited guys on their team that are going to really rise in the rankings this year, like Arnaud-Adala Moto and his Episcopal teammate Kethan Savage, who actually transferred to Episcopal from a public school and then reclassified from the class of 2011.

    http://www.nikeeliteyouthbasketballleague.com/

Has the links to all of the 3 sessions box scores, plus the leaders should be updated in a few days.

Leading some leading scorers after two sessions were Omar Calhoun (New York Gauchos, not in the Peach Jam), Rickey Ledo, Rodney Purvis, Archie Goodwin (Arkansas Wings Elite, also not in Peach Jam), Matthew Jones and Ricardo Gathers, who is also the tourney leader in rebounds

DaJuan Coleman is one of the leading rebounders, while Kyle Anderson was the leader in assists and steals after two sessions. Anderson is a guy who is incredibly intriguing, he is a very skilled 6’8 floor general, who while not a tremendous athlete, just has an incredibly high basketball IQ. I was very impressed with him at Adidas Nations last summer, and if anyone watched St. Anthony’s versus St. Patrick’s, Anderson played incredibly well against Mike Gilchrist, leading his team to the win with fantastic play by future Rutgers guard Myles Mack. Pretty sure Nerlens Noel is leading the tourney in blocked shots, and Sim Bhullar, at 7’4, is also getting his fair share of swats, not to mention has been incredibly hard to stop next to the basket. Also, Kyle Anderson’s team mate Myles Davis had been stroking 3.6 treys per game at a 48.6% clip.

Sorry, did not see it until now. But for some reason when you click on it, it goes too some other thing. Just copy and paste it.

    http://www.nikeeliteyouthbasketballleague.com/standings-2/

Maybe try that link, but if you copy and paste it, it gets you too the EYBL standings, rosters and box scores of all 3 sessions. Plus they have the leaders of the first two sessions, and should get the leaders of the first three sessions fairly soon.
