Former NBA Player David Vaughn Went from sleeping in The Ritz Carlton to becoming Homeless & sleeping in a Storage Shed

I was reading about Antoine Walker losing it all..It was reported that all his millions are gone..Another former Nba player is on his way back after years in despair ..Drafted by the Orlando Magic in 1995..David Vaughn played 4 seasons in the league..Appearing in 118 games with Orlando,Golden St. ,Chicago & New Jersey..Then 3 years in Europe..The most he made in his 1st 3 seasons in the nba were $600,000 a year..All of that is long gone..He bought cars, jewelry,clothes and sent money home to his family & friends..When his basketball career ended in 2003..I read that he went back to orlando and took a job unloading trucks at a grocery store,worked as a package deliver for Fed Ex.. Then worked at a furniture store until he got laid off..After years of him abusing his wife, he was forced to move out of the apartment they shared with their 2 kids..David sold his blood and some nights slept in parks, on the streets ,in shelters, in libraries and in his car..He also slept in a rented storage area..Often pulling his car inside then pulling down the sliding door..I read that he’s now getting $250 a week unemployment check..A far cry from the $600,000 a year he made during his time in the league…Some might say the nba should get him to talk to their young players..I say he should talk to high school players who think they can play in the league someday…And his rags2riches2rags story might enlightening a few kids ..that the fact is, there are only 320 players in the nba..But a million more with dreams of playing there..
