blackflash234ParticipantIs it me or is there a feeling to people that there’s a trade brewing in Portland. To everyone’s surprise, Portland signed Patty Mills I think it was a day or 2 days ago and it brings Portland’s payroll to 16 guranteed contract. If you include Darius Miles’s 9 mill, it makes it 17 contracts. I think that a trade will happen somewhat soon and I think it’ll have to do with either Travis Outlaw or Martell Webster. I’d be happy if it was a trade involving Jerryd Bayless because that kid’s suffering in Portland. It just makes no sense how management is just gonna allow someone like Bayless to just rot on the bench like that. The kid may not be a true point guard but the kid got talent and he can learn point guard skills on the fly because there’s already a playmaker in the starting lineup in Brandon Roy.

dmo21Participantif you add webster to the deal to, it works, but that might be to much to give up, maybe throw in some draft picks instead

dmo21Participantif portland does trade, i think they will be looking for a proven, veteran small forward… more like a guy who doesnt need the ball, a guy who just does his job and doesnt mess up the chemistry

dmo21Participantso if ariza plays very well and works great for the rockets, would that make battier expendable, because ariza is just a younger version of battier…..So if this would happen, id think the blazers should trade for battier, a veteran small forward who does his job…I think they would have to give up webster, pendergraph, and maybe some draft picks…

fastdanParticipantArn’t the rockets going to try to play ariza and battier at the same time…at least until/if tmac comes back.

dmo21Participanti think thats what they are going to try… but thats not much offense coming from your wing spots, and nobody else on that team is gonna score more, Scola?Anderson?Lowry? they seriously need a scorer until one of their rookies get going
