jordanrose13ParticipantIs it just me, or does he look a lot like Amare in that picture. That’s who I thought it was until it said Andre Drummond. Sorry for being off topic.

Aran SmithKeymasterI noticed that too. Drummond’s face looks a lot like a young Amare.

QHaynes20Aran, do you rank the players on this site or is it Adi Joesph? Just asking.

Aran SmithKeymasterAdi helps out with everything and has an input in the rankings. But I make the final mock/ranking decisions.

QHaynes20Ok….I have to ask in the 2011 draft: Brandon Knight, why so low man? and do you think Knight can be better then Wall?

BasketballGuru24ParticipantYea I agree with Qhaynes…….Brandon Knight is too low, i would rank him top 3. He is in his last year of high school and last year came off averaging close to 40ppg. This guy scores at will.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantI also read He Has A 4.0 Grade point average…….smart on the court and in the class. This kid got it working for him

Aran SmithKeymasterKnight is nice but I don’t see him being a top 3 pick. He’s got great quickness and is very talented but still has a ways to go as a PG. He’s also coming off an injury which has kept him off the court for much of the summer (an important development period).
He’s not a dynamic athlete nor a pure pg, so at 6-3 to 6-4 what makes you
think he can be drafted so high? It is unusual for PGs to get taken in
the top 5.0

QHaynes20So, he’s a combo guard? I saw him playing alot of PG. If he projects as a SG, then I hear you but from now to the time we see him in college, can he be a great PG in your opinion?

Michael.S.Participanti think he is a SG in the long run because he can flat out score, i think he is a top 3 pick actually, because unlike some combo guards he is very athletic although his speed isnt top notch , he is quick enough, and he is not a small combo guard either he is 6-4 , look at D-Wade, Eric Gordon,Harris, and Barbosa they are all combo guards that have excelled playing a combo guard role sort of and Brandon Knight can do anything from a 2 guards standpoint anyways, he is just a tad undersized

Adi JosephCombo guards/undesized shooting guards who were top three picks in the last 10 drafts: Ben Gordon, O.J. Mayo.
Yeah. Two in 10 years.
NBA teams have always been hesitant to draft a combo guard because so often they bust out of the league. So even if he has top-three talent, there’s no guarantee Knight actually gets picked in the top three.

QHaynes20I feel with some more time playing, he can be a PG and if he develops solid PG skills (playmaking, etc) he can be a solid player in the next levels
