thetruthParticipantnow ever since jordan and brown step in town. they have been doing alot of roster changes. some i agree with and some i dont agree with. now wait now the team hasnt added any free agent signees or tried to attempt to bring one. i know charlotte is not an attractive place to go or play for. but sooner or later jordan and co must start spending that butter if they want to win. or show the fans they wanna be better.
lets look at their possible starting lineups for next seasonpg-felton(if resigned)/augustin
sg-bell/henderson/wallace
sf-wallace/Radmanović/derrick brown
pf-diaw/Mohammed/Ajinça
c-chandler/diop/mohammed.judging by this perhaps lineup. it looks like a roster full of role players .
they need to upgrade the 2, 3, 4 .
and what i cant figure out is why havent they spend any money yet on some good free agents.
and the oakfor trade for chandler was stupid. they make the same amount of money. oakfor is a good shot blocker with better offense. i dont know what to say about the bobcats. i dont blame the team. i blame managerment. cheap ass bob johnson, jordan aka should just stick to playing golf. larry brown aka a good coach when it comes to teams already build (see the pistons)
you guys let me know what you think.0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/03/2009 - 8:36am #195094
B-ball fanParticipantThey traded Okafor for Chandler because Chandler is a free agent sooner, and then they will have more cap space which they will want if ownership changes hands. They may also be able to pursue a free agent later as a result too.

McWinningParticipanti think their going after the 2010 free agents. i really liked the direction they were going but now im not sure its hard to get centers as good as Okafor and they should have kept him.

BadBoysParticipantLong time guest first time post.
Bob Johnson is trying to sell the team. They have lost money every year. Whenever an owner trys to sell the team they don’t take on salary.

spencerishawesomeI think they just need to upgrade their big men. Felton/Augustin/Henderson/Wallace make good perimeter players for the future (or at least thats what they’re banking on)
Diaw is a weak PF and other than maybe him none of their big men will be on the team in a few years

j1232eParticipantis a legitamat starter in this league truth. It would be pretty hard to upgrade at small forward, unless they make a blockbuster trade!

catoosanumber22yes i agree with j1232e Wallace is a stud who is very underrated by many because he is on a bad team
