Can anyone name 3 three reasons each why MEM or LAC won’t finish top 10 in the west next season and you can’t name injuries as a reason. This is strictly based on what we know right now. I think these teams will be picking much lower in the draft in 2010, but they may still be at the bottom of the lottery.

    1. Their best players are very very young.
    2. Both have questionable coaches.
    3. The West is super super strong.

Memphis- 1. Too many ball hogs 2. Not enough motivated players that want to win 3. Team chemistry is shaky 4. No depth at SG 5. There is simply 10 better teams in the West than them

Clippers- 1. Thornton is really overrated 2. Griffin isn’t as big of a difference maker as people think but… I still think the Clippers are probably the 9th best team in the West

I completely agree with you on the Clips gatorheels and i think it’s more than possible the Grizz underachieve since they don’t have winning vets like the Clips.

I have Clippers finishing 8th right now, so I will just comment on Memphis.

1-Lakers, Spurs, Nuggets, Mavs, Blazers, Jazz, Hornets, Clippers, Warriors, Suns, Thunder, Rockets, THEN Grizz.

    2-Conley is the starting pg

    3-Gasol/Thabeet is the center combo.

reason’s 2 and 3 are not gonna intimidate anyone in the league.

Wow. The Wolves? Really? You got a lot of guts Futureofthe Game, I like that! lol I know I’ll get killed for saying this, but I think a lot of yall on this site are overrating Golden State big time. The only player I like with the ability to become an annual all-star is Randolph. What superstars do they have elsewhere. Please don’t mention Monta Ellis, who is a very nice player, but is strictly an undersized scorer. No defense, little maturity or leadership, no 3 point shot. Biedrins is only a piece of a winning puzzle, not a star. Crawford and Maggette? Please. They have never been winners just gunners. Curry offers hope, but I doubt if he is a franchise player. Whatever you think of the Warriors, LAC and maybe MEM are definitely in the same class right now.

OH NO CaptainAmerica you didn’t do it haha… Golden State is the true sleeper team this year watch out for them… they will be in the playoffs

The TWolves are awful… I would take the Clippers & Memphis over them haha

Crawford is gone BTW. And I dont really like the Warriors but the way Nelson plays and the roster they have probably will have them competing for the last playoff spot.

Chances are Golden State picks up a good free agent this offseason too.

Randolph is a stud. Brandon Wright is underrated and will show more this season. Jackson & Maggette are very solid veterans. Morrow is a true sleeper…he can light it up. Don’t be surprised to see Morrow starting in the league one day. Ellis is a good scorer. Curry is a pure shooter. Turiaf is a quality backup big man. Biedrins is really underrated too.

I’d say Warriors are pretty good. Stephen Jackson is a darn good leader. Biedrins is a great rebounder in that system. Anthony Randolph won’t put up the numbers we should expect because I don’t think he will get the love from Nelson. Monta Ellis and Curry isn’t a very safe backcourt, but I look for them to put up a lot of points and Corey Maggette is a real spark off the bench not to mention Turiaf.

I didn’t get to read Gatorheels until after I posted my comment, but you are right. Stephen Jackson is a winner and a real Leader for that team. I like all the points you put up.

First off, your the poster, the burden of proof is on YOU lol

The Clips SHOULD be a playoff team if you go by roster talent and not franchise name.

Contrary to pop. belief, theyre not that young. Griffin and Gordon, yes, but then you have Al thornton, who remeber is old for a 3rd yr guy he’s like 26, then baron, camby, kaman, ricky davis…i pick them to be the 8 seed.

Memphis on the other hand is in a totally diff. pot, From all signs their #2 pick is a complete bust. They are a 2 man show. Conley is Telfair 2.0 (not a compliment), Arhtur is young, Gasol is young…and foreign. They suck.

    Grizzlies:
    1.)No depth
2.) Too many shoot-first players and questionable PG play (which is arguably most important in a playoff run)
3.) Who is their coach? If I dont know who thier coach is, they are in trouble lol.
4.)Their low post isnt going to scare ANYONE, offensively or defensively.

    LA Clippers:
1.) Blake Griffin isnt going to shake the world as a rookie, he will just be an above average starter. His emergence will be in Year 2.
2.)Dunleavy and Davis will clash, rendering them ineffective. Control Freak+ Loose Cannon= BAD combination.
3.They will be 3rd best in their division, and 3rd best in any division out West wont be good enough.
