TarHeelRavenParticipantNot shocking even though he underwhelmed at Carolina this year. I know the criticism out there is that wings look bad in Roy’s system and that is justified. He only played 18 minutes a game and for a guy with his talent and athleticism, that’s pretty shocking. His basketball IQ is seriously lacking and he desperately needs to work on his handle and jumper. Is there anyway he becomes a starter in the league despaite a lackluster season at UNC?

Arc12345ParticipantScreams Marvin Williams career trajectory to me. They’re not really that similar of players, besides not starting and coming off of the bench as freshman.
To me, that’s a red flag though. If Nassir were that good, he would’ve been starting – plain and simple. Hoping he can do well though.
If anyone should declare, it’s Coby.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantThe expectations for him this season were very unrealistic. He really blew up based on his performance in an all-star game where very little defense was being played. There is a lot to like physically, but his skills and feel for the game are still a ways off. If you draft him you are taking him more for the player you believe he can develop into than the player he is now.
I still think he probably winds up in the back half of the lottery. There are just too many physical skills to ignore. He’s strong, athletic, plays with good energy and could potentially be a lockdown perimeter defender with the versatility to guard at least 3 positions. If he can develop his 3 point shot he at least projects as a 3 and D guy in the demaree Carroll mold. If he further develops his off the dribble game he could be even better than that long-term but that will take some time. Of course, there’s also the chance that he becomes another Stanley Johnson as well but that’s part of the risk of drafting on potential.

kobyzParticipantHard to tell, reddish is the most boom or bust prospect in the last decade…

BlueRivers25ParticipantCam gets the notority only because he plays at Duke. I watch Duke a lot, Cam does not have the most upside or the downside in the last decade.
Most boom/bust: Jonathan Isaac. He was compared to Kevin Durant/Rashard Lewis
