Nemanja Bjelica despite reports had not signed a contract with the 76ers and now he’s intending to stay in Europe. From his prospective it isn’t that surprising as he was a star overseas and a role player in the NBA. I’m not sure who the 76ers target now or if they’re happy with the guys they have.

They still have one too many players without Bolden if you count the unguarenteed deals of McConnell and Holmes.

This is quietly a big blow for the Sixers. Bolden is nowhere near the player Bjelica is.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying he’s nowhere near Bjelica. Not as good at the moment definitely, but tons of potential.

I thought Bjelica would have a breakout season with the 76ers. Its too bad he got buried on the bench in Minnesota despite being a better all around player then most of the guys ahead of him in the rotation including Wiggins.

He did show a bit of promise but was a bit inconsistant and didn’t get alot of shots.

I am not surprised alot more inters will elect to stay overseas. Nemanja Bjelica for example was making $4mill per year in the nba.  He can make the same money playing elsewhere in the world. He won’t have all the travelling and gruelling schedule of 82 games, plus being buried on the bench alot.  He can stay near friends and family, be treated like a star, play alot less games and less travel probably prolonging his career aswell
