Lotto StudParticipantOne of the more undervalued backcourt tandems I see on the rise are Jamal Murray and Gary Harris. With Murray being more of a combo guard, rather than a pure point guard, I feel as if many people knock the pair as a whole, instead of appreciating his ability to hold down a secondary position as a full-time starter over a former lottery pick in Emmanuel Mudiay, who led the organization to believe he was their promising star in the making.
As for Gary Harris, I cannot speak highly enough of his skill set without being able to say in due time, he will set the league blazing into a wildfire.

whiteflashParticipantI’m really interested to see the Smith/Doncic backcourt. Think Smith has what it takes to be the best player from his draft (high praise, I know) and if Doncic is even half of what he’s being touted as then Dallas wiil have the best young backcourt in the league for the foreseeable future.

ThenilonatorParticipantIt’s hard to call a 31 year old “up and coming” but I’m interested to see how Shai and milos play together at the clippers. Obviously Avery will probably start and Lou will play plenty but watching the rookie play off milos will be fun. The clippers have one of the most intriguing rosters in the league.

The GoatParticipantI’m surprised they re-signed Bradley and drafted Robinson when they have Lou, cos they all play off the ball. Shai will start over Milos by seasons end, so that leaves Beverley as the odd guy out. We may see a move. They don’t need all 6 guys.

kobyzParticipantDon’t be surprised, Jerry west is a genius, his core future are shai/Robinson/Harris, so what he’s doing to try and make them more complete players? Sign Bradley and mba amuta as veterans with defensive mindset while already having Beverly in the same mold so all of his 3 young future players have someone in the same position that great to learn under what they need to go along with their offensive potential…

Cutler06ParticipantI have always like West but it really seemed like a mistake when he didn’t draft MPJ or at least trade down. He could have easily drafted Robinson later and got a future pick to continue his build.

Miko4rm206ParticipantCavaliers. Colin Sexton and Clarkson/Hood.
LBJ is gone but there is still some quality youth on this team 1-5… Are they still a playoff team? Will k.love stay or get traded?? I say just hand the keys over to Colin, Rodney and Jordan from the start of the season

iminipandaParticipantVery intrigued by Fox-Bogdanovic and Fox-Hield backcourt combinations. Fox has gained muscle and should be much better at handling NBA contact heading into year 2. Bogdanovic is a great compliment to Fox as another facilitator and shooter. Hield has greatly improved his defense from his rookie year and his shooting is still prolific.

Evan_MilbergParticipantFox/Bogdan – I think Fox is going to take a major step forward in Year 2. I know he only played one game in Summer League, but he looked like a guy who can be the franchise PG they drafted him to be. And obviously Bogdan will continue to flat out Bogdan. I’m also still pretty high on Buddy Hield’s potential to be a productive rotation player and potential starter in this league, too. Fox’s dribble-drive prowess combined with Bogdan/Hield’s shooting ability could be very dangerous.
Murray/Walker – Once Manu retires and the Spurs are freed from Danny Green’s contract, I fully expect Lonnie Walker to be ready to step in as the Spurs two-guard of the future. Alongside Dejounte Murray, they could be one of the most athletic, promising backcourts in the league come 2020.

HazelParticipantMitchel-Superstar
Exum-Elite defender and speed could still become an all-star if healthy and improves
Allen-Real solid all around player with some upside
O’Neal-Undrafted rookie who was last seen making The Beard’s life inneficient while scoring 17 efficient points. Statistically one of the elite defenders.
Rubio-Went from defender who gambled too much and offensive liability to elite defender and elite playmaker and spot-up three point shooter WITH ONE SEASON OF GOOD COACHING.
Nobody on this list is older than 26.
All these guys are going to get way better (or maintain pretty awesome in Rubio’s case) because of who they are and the organization they are in.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantFultz and Zaire Smith are probably going to be the back court of the future while Ben slides into the SF or PF spot defensively, Saric and Embiid start at PF and C, RoCo would likely be moves for pieces to compliment the starters
Fultz and Smith could become a lockdown defensive duo with tremendous athleticism and offensive versatility

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantI’m not high on Zhaire Smith

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI wanted to hate Zaire as a prospect, thought he was JUST an athlete
Boy am I happy we made that trade in hindsight, Zaire is gonna so good in our system, he can defend, dribble, drive, dish and shoot
He’s so versatile and has a great overall floor game
I see an Iguodala type at worst, Kawhi Leonard lite at best
