I’ve been intrigued with JJJ’s upside and with uncertainties looming within 2-8 picks, could he fall that far and land with the Bulls? He’s a high risk, high reward talent but I can see him being an impact player there.

If Porter goes in the top 5 along with Ayton, Bagley, Doncic, and Bamba, I bet Orlando passes on him and there you go.

       My thoughts exactly
If he doesn’t go 4th to Memphis I can envision him falling as far as Cleveland

I think JJJ would be a GREAT fit in Cleveland, assuming LeBron stays. This site compares him to Shareef Abdur Rahim, but I think of him more as a shorter Porzingis in terms of his skill set and potential. In a league evolving toward more stretch 5s, he could make Cleveland a lot more dynamic on both sides of the floor.

I m curious. I personally have him slipping myself but only as far as to the magic who would be happy to have him. Seems like the kind of prospect their gm likes to have. So im curious why you believe orlando will likely pass

agreed. If porter jumps into the top 5, any of doncic bamba or Jackson falling should get picked up by the magic. if porter doesn’t, they take young.

Yeah its possible. Porter has had some very good workouts and some execs think hes a top 3 prospect. Then Orlando would have to pick a PG.

50-50 chance, with Porter moving up draft board to top 5, it’s between Young and JJJ going to Orlando…

JJJ is raw, but looks like a young KG. More than one scout has said his upside is the highest in the whole draft. Game tape shows you just that. So while anything is possible, its unlikely he falls that far.

Well, the young KG went 5.. I dont think hes remotely close to a young KG tbh. The top 4 prospects are Ayton, Bagley, Doncic and Bamba. Hes in the next tier with Porter, Young and Carter Jnr.

With such a stacked draft and team needs to look at it is possible he could fall to there. Ayton and Bagley seem top 2 locks. With Trae getting interest at 3 and Bamba also likely to go top 5. Then you could well have Dallas picking out of Doncic, Porter and JJJ amongst others.

So by default one of these guys will fall to 7. Porter if he had played full rookie year could well have been a top 5 or even top 3 lock. Doncic was also considered a top 3 pick by a lot of us.

I honestly think it all depends on team needs.

If Hawks did take Trae and 3 and Memphis Bamba at 4 then I could see JJJ falling to 7 through no fault of his own or certainly to 6. I just think Dallas wouldn’t pass on Doncic, they have built winning sides in the past and may think Doncic’s all round game is too good to pass on.

Then I think Orlando would be straight choice between Porter and JJJ.
