I’m a Knick fan and generally don’t hold a grudge against any team in the NBA with the exception of the Clippers over the last 5 to 6 years. Even during the mid 90s, I was frustrated with Reggie Miller and the Pacers in the playoffs but never actually hated the pacers and wanted them to fail; instead there was a respect for that team. The Clippers, on the other hand, with their constant whining, are the team I root to see fail.

Warriors easily. I’ve never hated anything in sports more than I hate them

Clippers would definitely be 2nd. I can’t stand their attitude as a team and organization

-whatever team Dwight Howard is on. Absolute coach/team killer, a shell of the DPOY who lead Orlando to the Finals

    -LA Lakers

    -LA Clippers

    -NY Knicks

Dont buy into the whole NBA is better when the big market teams are good, maybe it’s just me being a fan of a small market team but Lakers and Knicks can stay in the cellar all I care.

I enjoy seeing the Lakers be terrible because the years in which they were good recently, saw so many poser and fair weather fans come out, constantly rocking the merch saying how much they love them etc etc talking out their behinds about them, then when they took a nose dive those fans disappeared. I’m enjoying a world without those fans more than with them. I guess you could say the same thing about the Warriors, Cavs etc, but theres something uniquely insufferable about Lakers homers.

Lakers did have some bad bandwagoners back in the day, but more recently I think the worst was not the Warriors or the Cavs, but the Heat. Just a couple years ago everyone and their dog was a Heat fan, now where are they? I literally haven’t seen a Heat jersey or anyone claiming to be a Heat fan since LeBron left. Sure a lot of them switched to the Cavs to follow LeBron, but I still don’t think the bandwagontry is nearly as bad in Cleveland as it was in Miami.

Warriors bandwagoners are pretty bad right now, but Warriors have always had a pretty good fanbase, so have the Lakers, both teams have a large following even when they’re bad. But Miami’s fanbase is absolutely non-existent right now, and they aren’t even that bad, they’ve actually been very good as of late. I think that’s proof enough the Heat was the king of all bandwagons.

As far as a team I want to see fail, definitely the Warriors. I really loved the era of Jason Richardson, Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy, Monta Ellis, Adonal Foyle, Mickael Pietrus, etc. That team was very fun to watch for me. Now I can’t even stand to watch them at all, I’m more of a fan of post-play and slashing, if you can knock down a shot from 3 then go for it, but don’t make that 90% of your offense…it’s incredibly boring. I only disliked the Warriors last year, but when they stole away Durant it turned from dislike to loathing. Now I not only wish the Warriors fail, but I want Durant to fail too. I’ll admit I was all smiles when Durant got injured, I know that’s a little sadistic, but whatever he injured my heart & soul.

I mean is there anything more annoying than Lebron complaining the front office hasn’t put enough talent on the team when they have him, one of the best PGs in the game, an all-star power foward, and a nice set of role players?…… Being a Knicks fan and being forced to watch Marshall Plumlee and Ron Baker get significant minutes makes his statement infuriate me even more. So I hafta go with the Cavs.

     After all the fixed games,

I think Karma is fun to watch.

I have not liked them ever since I found out the NBA gave Magic to them. Instead of him going to the Jazz just because a small market team signed a free agent away from L.A.

Boston for sure. I think it started when KG got away with murder against the Calderon/Bosh led Raptors. I remember him literally manhandling our team physically and getting back on defense yelling profanity at the top of his lungs to our team but getting no tech. I recall Pierce dunking on Bosh and sticking out a knew to knock him on his ass. Getting KG, Ray Allen. SScrew Danny Ainge. Celtics pride. How bout Celtics doo doo heads! Fleecing the Nets when everyone knew that trade shouldve been vetoed. Now they get possibky my favourite college player Isaiah Thomas, one of my favourite Canadian players Olynyk and one of my favourite Rookies Brown. Also used to like Rozier and Smart. Fan favourite Raptor Amir Johson too. Any other city and they would be one of mt favourite teams roster wise but all of those players could retire now for all I care. They always get to have great teams and dominate the Atlantic Division. Not to mention how good theyve had it with the Bruins, Red Sox recently, the Patriots. I hate Boston.

Why should that trade have been vetoed?  Both teams agreed to it.  Not Ainge’s fault Billy King and the Nets were stupid enough to make the trade.

NBA teams can trade whoever they want.  If someone’s dumb enough to trade a 2nd round pick for Lebron James so be it.

The Chris Paul to Laker’s trade was vetoed because the NBA owned the Hornets.

Listen manfrog this is a hate thread. There is nothing you can say that will make me ratinally believe that trade should not have been vetoed. NBA is rigged. Celtics suck. Larry Bird is MK Ultra clone.

Any team with a prominent player who cries foul when he actually committed it and any team with a prominent player who tries to make GM moves. Just get your money and leave if you don’t like what they do.

     Right Now!

On the surface you might be scratching you head & saying but the Celtics are challenging the Cleveland LeBrizons for the #1 record in the Eastern Conference – that does Not make any sense!?!?!?

But think about it – The last 2, maybe even 3 years ALL we have heard is how the Celtics are "Set up to Win multiple Championships Baby!!!" & "We Fleeced the Nets yo!, That was the Greatest Trade in NBA History!"

The Truth however is that the Celtics are No Where even Close to winning a Championship

This Celtics team still has not even won a Playoff Series. W/ the Nets pick last summer they got Jaylen Brown who might win a Dunk contest one day but he’ll be Lucky to even make starter one day.

Despite what Everyone says about this Draft, Markelle Fultz is the only Draft Pick who Might have Star potential. Look we missed out on Ben Simmons last year & that was Soul crushing b/c Simmons is a potential Super Star but I Thank God the Celtics missed on Simmons too.,

We’ll see who Boston gets in these next 2 Drafts but unless they can turn one or both of these Nets picks into an Established Super Stars this Boston team has Zero chance to win a Chip anytime in the near future

I respect your opinion about how close this team is to winning a championship.  However, I would like to say that Brown has already shown he can be a starter.  Some of his best basketball has come in his 18 games in the starting lineup.  I’d argue he’s out performing expectations with his play on both ends of the floor.  He’s earned every minute and opportunity this year with his hardwork.

All jokes aside Browns a stud, the dude can ball. You put him on the Lakers ibstead oof Ingram he probally would have averaged 12-14 ppg, 4 rpg 2.5 apg 1.5 spg shooting around 40% fg and 32%, 3pt. Boston struggles to get him minutes at times. Everytime I turn on a Celtics game all they do is talk about Brown. Hes so energetic and never takes plays off.

He is great on D as well. He is subbed for Thomas in the end of the game kid can defend. He has shot the 3 very well for year one and is locked in all the time. Brown is a future all star man. He can create, pull up of dribble, rebound, defend. Future star man.

To be honest I have to say no to that question right now, which kind of sucks in a way because it does sort of make things more compelling to watch when you have a particular team that you despise. I remember one of the most fun finals I ever remember watching was the Mavs-heat in 2011, not because I was a mavs fan but because I wanted the heat to lose and lebron to fail so miserably that season. It felt so validating at the time when it happened.

Some people might hate the warriors. I dont. I love their style of play and think Kerr is an outstanding coach. Curry and Thompson are just so much fun to watch and I respect green even though he can cross the line at times. I don’t even care that Durant went there so much because it made too much sense from a basketball perspective not to.

Some might still hate lebron. I don’t anymore. While he will never be my favorite player, I have developed more than a healthy respect for his greatness. It would be cool to see another Eastern conference team in the finals for once, but it probably wouldn’t be such a great series.

Maybe it’s because I’m a Lakers fan and we just don’t have many rivals at the moment. The spurs are just too classy and consistent of an organization to hate. The Celtics are a fun team to watch and Stevens is a great coach. The Knicks aren’t relevant enough to hate, etc.

I will always watch no matter what, but unless the Lakers are playing I find myself watching most games as an impartial observer these days.

If I had to pick 4 times I’d say the Lakers, Cavs, Heat and this year definitely the Clippers.

Clippers are overrated and with all that talent never made a WCF even.  Part of that is Doc River is overrated he never won anything w/out the big 3, Rondo, Posey and other solid role players. I used to be a big CP3 fan but apparently he’s been outplayed in the playoffs by many PGs. Team has no history except for the team about 12 years ago facing the Suns they’ve never been fun to watch even.

Lakers its pretty obvious why they should have been allowed to land Fisher when Utah released him for medical reasons. The 02 WCF against the Kings was pretty bad how the refs gave them the calls. People seem to think they should never be bad or terrible or it just takes away from the league. They didn’t win a title in the 90s and the NBA was fine with other big markets dominating.

Miami well most agree they got away with a lot in the 06 Finals. The 2011 Finals pretty sure everyone outside of Florida was rooting for Dallas for obvious reasons. Whether it be Riley, Lebron those guys rub a lot of ppl the wrong way. They were very fortunate to win in 2013 thanks to Popovich blunder and Ray Allen clutch 3.  Anyway Miami will never be a big basketball city.

Cavs I definitely root for. They landed how many 1st round picks and seem to have been tanking whenever Lebron wasn’t on the team.  If not for GS getting suspensions and players injured or Barnes flat out sucking they would’ve beaten Cleveland last year. Win or lose Cleveland will always belong to the Browns people from there say.  Cavs owner, GM whether you think its Lebron or Griffin put up a super team but still act like its not enough.  At least the 80s n 90s Cavs had heart and played like it.

As many said Lakers will be my choice tbh
There is just too much ego there, Like we should be gr8 because we are the Lakers,a superstar will join our shit team b/c we are the Lakers.
I would honestly hope they would fail to make the play-off for few more years.
Sometimes I dislike the Rockets too but I think a part from that is because I am Mavs fan. There is a lot of dislike between the two fan bases.

Whoever owes us a draft pick lol.

Seriously though, no teams I want to fail, just Lebron. Tired of seeing this guy in the finals, and his attitude/ego/personality just bugs me, so I find myself rooting against the Cavs.

I’d love to see Portland overtake Denver for the 8th seed because they gave them Nurkic and a 1st rounder for a Plumlee. What a horrible trade.

Did Denver ever try to explain what, they, were trying to accomplish with that trade? When I first read that trade I thought it was Plumlee and a 1st for Nurkic and thought Portland still ripped them off. Plumlee is a free agent as well.

I know Nurkic was becoming a problem in that lockeroom and was demanding more minutes or a trade after being stuck behing Jokic but did you really need to give up a 1st round pick to trade him for an expiring contract?
