…but the Minnesota Timberwolves are at least five years away from winning a championship if they ever win one. Since 1990, only three players under age 27 at the time won finals MVP (Tim Duncan – 1999, Dwyane Wade – 2006, Kawhi Leonard – 2014), and virtually all of the teams since then have been composed of seasoned veterans plus a best player who is at least 27 years old.

Minnesota has 3 of the Best young talents in the game in KAT, Wiggins & Dunn……
It will Def take them a few years to rise to the Top but it’s gonna be a heck of a lotta fun watching them get there……
Especially after 10 straight years of Torturous Losing seasons…… 05/06′ to present day…..

It will Def take them a few years to rise to the Top but it’s gonna be a heck of a lotta fun watching them get there……
Especially after 10 straight years of Torturous Losing seasons…… 05/06′ to present day…..

Also I think the Spurs will grab Karl Towns because he seems like the perfect person to fill in for Duncan after retirement.

With the talent of Lavine, WIggins, Kat and Dunn plus Thibs as the coach, I would think in 3 years they should at least get out the second round

If the Wolves become a consistent winner I would be thrilled. Championship? Only one team per year can win a championship so it would be amazing but I am not holding my breath.

Oh man, where do I start with this… You’re telling me that my hometown team that hasn’t made the playoffs in 12 years, drafted Rubio and Jonny Flynn over Steph, and have never won it all has a chance of winning a ring 5 years from now? Let’s goooo! That’s great news, thanks for letting us know.
The last thing I’ll add is I get a kick out of fans that say "If you don’t win the championship it doesn’t matter". I would guess you either do not have a favorite team or you’re a Lakers fan. Lakers fans love saying that.. Couldn’t agree with NBAjunkie more, it’s all about the journey!
