goodsense3ParticipantWas it disrespectful for Lebron to step over Draymond in altercation in 4th q instead of walking around him? Also was it okay for Draymond to disrepect him back after bron stepped on him by talkin trash and callin him a b****? Do yall remember any previous finals where key players talked harsh trash in crunch time. I wonder if Jordan ever called someone defending him or threatning him in finals a b****? I remember watching youtube vids of jordans nba fights and it he definetly cursed at opponents who were bothering him but none if those were in nba finals.

Hype MachineWhat about the part where Draymond backhanded him in the junk?
Lebron said Draymond said personal things during the altercation and hinted it was about his family in the press conference.
Both those dudes were being douschebags at the time but…given the situation its just a couple of dudes mildly losing their cool.
Im giving this 1.5 out of 5 on the hype scale.

D7H7NParticipantFlat out exaggeration by LeBron. Chris Broussard reported that Draymond called him a b1tch, that was it. Sounds like LeBron let Draymond get into his head and had to whine about it on TV.
Also while I don’t condone lovetapping balls, what Draymond did would not have happened if LeBron didn’t try to pull another AI/Lue moment on him. You expect Draymond of all people to get punked like that?

mcbaileyParticipantIt might very well be true, but citing Chris Broussard isn’t exactly an ironclad defense. I’m surprised Broussard found his way to the right arena.

D7H7NParticipantWell when Green and LeBron are both giving two different stories, it’s reasonable to have perspective from a middleman. ESPN is incredibly LeBron biased anyways.
You know Kobe and Jordan would’ve taken whatever trash talk Green did as motivation to win. LeBron didn’t do shit but pad his stats the last minute.

goodsense3ParticipantAfter watching youtube of altercation it def look like bron was tryin to bully him cause he shoved him to ground with his forearm then tried to literally step over him as he saw Draymond trying to get back up. Didnt really see Dray backhand him in junk unless it happen after. Def looks like Bron started altercation from youtube vid.

XavierAllTheWayParticipantLoved steph curry’s facial expression during that inbound play. Obvious fouls by lebron and curry just had enough of it and had a right to talk to ref. Lebron was in the wrong there.

nill650ParticipantHe will be suspended, otherwise the league has lost it.
He should have been suspended in the previous series but that is a different story.
What I thought was hillarious is how Lebron was intentionally flinging around Curry to test the water to see what the crooked official would do. Cavs along with any other teams that have faced GSW this season get no respect from that offical especially not in game 4,where as in the game they destroyed GSW with Silver in attendence the calls were more reasonable with decent officiating required to back up Silvers claims that the officials are correct 90% of the time. I am sick of the b.s. Gsw is a great team, they should be embarassed they had to win finals games due to lopsided officiating in there favor. The Cavs are too good to go down like this, but the officials are just setting up the ultimate game 7 .
There were so many non calls all game against the Warriors that Lebron had had enough…good for him.

220ParticipantI didn’t notice the ball tap attempt by Green as Lebron stepped over him last night. I just saw it on YouTube and I doubt anything comes of it as Lebron was hurdling him for no reason. Although Draymond has shown a habit of going for the balls so maybe something happens.

SubZeroParticipantNormally I’d be annoyed at Lebron for it, but it was to Draymond so I’m cool with it. I’m an OKC fan and I’ve almost never been angrier about anything in sports than what he got away with last series.
To the point of Lebron shoving him down, yeah he was being physical but that was definitely a flop. I know Lebron is strong enough to do that to almost anyone, but Draymond is a known flailer and occasionally a flopper, and he’s done enough for me to never give him the benefit of the doubt

nill650Participantyep Dray is like the used car salesman of the NBA…he learned it from the Cavs turncoat Varejao.

220ParticipantVarejao can’t be a turncoat, he was traded from the Cavs and he didn’t even request the trade.

nill650ParticipantI liked Varejao when he was a Cav, don’t get me wrong…but the guy has always been a flop artist is absolutely injury prone and he was’nt traded to GSW he was traded to Portland who waived him. Varejao turncoated out of anger at the trade and signed with the team that only signed him to get inside dirt on the current roster in cleveland. He is turncoat.

220ParticipantVarejao has always been a massive flopper agreed.
If there was a concern of inside information being leaked teams would force all their players to sign non disclosure agreement and perhaps no player would be permitted to join another team because of insider info. Seeing as none of those things happen it’s hardly a concern. The Warriors beat the Cavs last year in the finals and it appears the same is about to happen. Varejao didn’t trade himself and he didn’t waive himself he’s not a turncoat. By your logic if Varejao joined any team that played the Cavs in the playoffs he’d be a turncoat which is simply absurd. There was no guarantee the Warriors and Cavs would face one another in the playoffs.
0- Posted on: Sat, 06/11/2016 - 3:03pm #1072401
nill650Participantinteresting point, but I still don’t like the fact that he joined GSW,regardless of guarantees and disclusure b.s. By getting on the bandwagon that gave him the best chance to win a title, cant blame him there..but it just seems to me that he is disgruntled and would talk.
0- Posted on: Sat, 06/11/2016 - 5:14pm #1072405

220ParticipantI get that you don’t like that be joined Golden State. It’s understandable. I imagine with game film that most NBA teams practically know each other’s playbooks so that concern is minor at best.

It was a major flop, but heeryyy….
He’ll never flop, kick, trip, taunt like crazy or hit his own teammate curry in the groin.
That’s all good….

IndianaBasketballParticipantI can’t stand when guys go to the media and air out things that were said on the court. When you disrespect and step over a guy putting your nuts and d*ck on his neck, you are a bitch in my book. Yea, Dray did react quickly afterwards and made contact with his balls though. I felt like LeBron was campaigning to the media hard as hell to get Dray suspended. Maybe Dray will be suspended. I hope not though. If Cavs want to extend this series, they should have to earn it by beating GSW at full strength.
Personally, I love that Dray stood up to him and didn’t back down. And I actually think he handled himself well.
