Well I was hoping Maker or Sabonis would drop to 18, but if not I say we go for potential and take Skal. Showed flashes of rim protection and a jump shot but was way too raw. D league him for a year and see what we have.

They dont have a backup point guard. I think Baldwin and Demetrius Jackson are also in play here. I think Skal is another intruiging option, his potential could compliment Drummond nicely.

Though they are young they are trying to win now. Ulis has the game to be a really good backup in this league, and could let reggie jackson play off the ball at times.

I never considered this pick but I love it.  Ulis is gives them the backup point guard that they need and he would keep Reggie Jackson’s ego happy because he won’t be seen as a potential starter.

Skal Labissiere. He provides floor spacing for Drummond while also giving them more rim protection as he showed to have good instincts as a weakside shot blocker

Skal Labissiere. He is the perfect type of player for Stan Van Gundy with his shooting and might turn into a big time steal at 18.

The Pistons could use a power forward who can slide to center when the other team wants to hack Drummond. Skal can shoot, but his ultimate destiny is as a 5. Pistons should take Baldwin or Ulis, I would pick Baldwin.

Skal Labissiere is killing his workouts and looking like a lottery pick. People attending the workouts have formed a consensus belief that he was thoroughly misused at Kentucky. The guy played at 210-215 why was he the teams starting C. Imagine if Ingram played in the post this year instead of the perimeter. SVG loves to put perimeter oriented players at the 4 to space the floor and Detroit lacks a PF/C. Great fit.

Skal Labissiere. A prospect with the tools Stan Van Gundy loves in his players so i can see this as a perfect match. Pairing him and Drummond could be very interesting for Detroit’s future

Im seriously lol’ing at how much love there is for Skal Labissiere.

Ive got no doubt in my mind that this guy is straight up terrible. And NBA scouts know it.

Its like he gets a sympathy vote or something.

Drafts in a couple of weeks and Im gonna put some of these sites on blast when a few inevidible things take place. Mostly:

Teams dont touch Skal Labissiere with a 10 foot pole

Thon Maker goes in the lottery (2nd round? Please)

Is this some kind of face-saving mission for these sites cos they got their scouting reports all wrong.

Anyways Furkan or Luwawu get my vote here

It’s no joke at all… I attended a couple Kentucky games this year and Skal looks amazing in warmup, so I’m not surprised that he’s killing all his workouts.  Obviously, it didn’t translate to the court this year but Skal is very fluid and skilled.  The potential is there for him to be much more than a Channing Frye, it’s just a matter of if he wants it bad enough.

     Wade Baldwin.

The Pistons are seriously lacking depth in the backcourt behind Jackson and KCP. Baldwin has the size and versatility to play behind and alongside either. His shooting ability will be a welcome addition for SVG.

A lot of options for the pistons, at first, months ago, Ellenson was the obvious pick, then i liked valentine for them, IQ, playmaking, shooting(not sure at all he’ll go 12th).

Then Sabonis falled in mocks, skilled, smart, banger, pistons fans should have embraced the player and the person.

Now i’m more on a true PF or a true back up PG.

Ullis is a nice fit, maybe a reach, same for Jackson but he has the skill set/mindset to help.

    PF, Skal.

Let’s go with Skal, coach-GM SVG will develop him properly i guess.

I doubt Detroit has any interest in Skal, they don’t need another shot blocker, and they definietly don’t need any underweight projects that can shoot ok for a big. This team wants to win now and they are 1 or 2 players away from making it out of the first round next season. I see them taking anyone from Baldwin to Bolomboy or Johnson in the actual.

However I think with who is left here they would think it is an absolute steal and absolutely would take  Korkmaz.

Skal is an upside player but he is a project, so it depends on whether the Pistons think the wait is worth it, lack of toughness is a worry with Skal IMO.
