1.Can you think of any reason they would or wouldn’t shop the pick

    2. What would be the best potential trade offers for #1 and Ben Simmons?

I see a few teams within the Top 5 that could offer a great package for #1

    1. Lakers send us #2(Ingram) amd Jordan Clarkson whilst also making the pick in 17′ unprotected

    2. Boston trades #3 (Dunn) plus 16(Richardson or Korkmaz) plus 1st round picks in 17′ amd 18′ (via Brooklyn and Boston) and the rights to Terry Rozier and James Young

    3. Phoenix trades #4 (Dunn) and Devin Booker plus the 13th pick (Jaylen Brown possibly)

Trade 1 gives us Ingram+Clarkson+unprotects the pick in 17′

Trade 2 gives us a starting PG in Dunn and a glut of young guards in Rozier/Young and the 16th

Trade 3 gives us Devin Booker and Kris Dunn plus another chance at a Sf like Brown with the 13th pick

So, anybody see any deals out there that could sway Philadelphia to trade the #1 pick…

What if Indiana offered you PG13 or what if James Harden was offered up by Houston?

Is there is scenario where you see the 76ers trade the pick…

Your opinion of either Russell or Simmons is wayy too high if those are your only three trade demands.

Some of those would be good value for the top pick. But Philly has been tanking for 3 straight years for a shot at the top pick to turn the franchise around and give the fans some hope. So theres no way the sixers are coming off that number one pick.

Yes. Only way I can see them doing it is if they decide they like Ingram more than Simmons and are convinced LA is going to take Simmons. Of course the price would have to be high.

A big part of why they can’t give give 1 for 2 and something small in that scenario is perception. Taking your guy at 1 says we believe this guy is the superstar and we want him badly. Plus it will help attract the fans back with the #1 pick/perceived star of the draft. Huge for the state of things there.

But if LA wants Simmons, Philly wants Ingram, and LA is willing to pay up, it could be worth it for Philly. That said I can’t imagine taking Ingram over Simmons

Everything I’ve been hearing is the Laker fans are more excited about Ingram so I doubt they give anything to move up.

     I like the Suns trade.

Dunn and Booker. Bam! There’s your backcourt.

At 13, you got Luwawu or BPA.

Noel/Embiid/Okafor is the 3 headed dragon.

You can’t trade as close to a sure fire star such as Simmons for lower draft picks and players who will have nice careers in a niche role.

take your Phoenix trade for instance, I really like booker but he is no franchise changer. Imagine you did this trade in the Anthony Davis draft. Davis was a can’t miss prospect and the same as it is in this draft there were/are a lot of question marks under the top 2. If you made that trade in that draft you would receive picks # 4 (doin waiters) and pick #13 (Kendall Marshall) plus booker. Essentially your trading booker for Davis! I’m not saying Dunn and Brown won’t be better but I’m not saying they will be either.

youve tanked this hard, take the superstar and build around him!!

I cant see the Suns giving up Booker, Dunn, and Brown for the top pick. And quite frankly, I dont see the sixers accepting that. They’re gonna get their PG next year when theres a ton to pick from.
