       These teams are FAR better……..

In the 90’s the Bulls never had to play against teams w/ Rings……. Now if you referenced the 80’s I’d say it’s even…… That does not diminish the All Time Great Bulls…..

But the Spurs, Lebron, Golden State are all Champions….. & OKC is right on the cusp…….That wasn’t case in the 90’s but I appreciate the sarcasm – it’s the last refuge of the Beta-Male

they dont have rings cause they played against jordan. barkley suns gary payton shremph kemp sonics malones jazz could all win a championship in todays era. if you think okc or the spurs or cavs could beat those teams you are kidding yourself. warriors might have a chance against those teams but theyd get smoked by the bulls. beside that cleveland team or okc aint won ish and niether probably never will. hakeem was a champ so was pippen so was shaq not to mention the ultimate champ mj kobe was a champ and ai  was good as anybody today. didnt compare to the 80’s cause it would not be fair.I understand why you young cats would think this era is all time great though compare to the crap basketball that was most of the mid to 2000s it is

FAR better? You can’t knock the teams of the 90s for not having rings and multiple teams today having one, because teams today never had to go against MJ every year. Orlando, Utah, Phoenix, New York, Seattle, and Houston would all be elite teams today

Durant & Westbrook are off the charts skilled……….. & OKC beating the SPurs 2x in  3 games at San Antone after the Spurs only lost One home game All year……

The Spurs themselves putting together an All Time great season……. & Lebron looking to be on the verge of 6 consecutive trips to the Finals (7 overall) …… but 6 in a row – like Lebron or not – is a testament to this guy’s remarkable physical & mental toughness….

And this is already one of the Great NBA seasons Ever (IMHO)…… & we’re not even at the Conference Finals yet…….. I agree that we are seeing something Very special……….

The spurs thunder series is great, the winner of that vs the warriors will be great and the cavs vs the western conference winner will be a great series, this is if everyone stays healthy.

The heat raptors series has been weird but entertaining, like the heat playing with Deng at center and winslow at PF. I don’t think those teams are great teams but it is fun to watch and very competitive.

I watched a lot of ball in the 90’s and back then people were saying the same thing. Jordan was a guy who just dunked with his tongue out, players were more concerned  with movie roles and rap albums, their cloths were too baggy, drafting kids out of high school was against everything and none of them would become any good, Supposedly no one from the 90,s era could compete with prior generations.

Same thing with today’s ball, older people will have their views about what’s good or acceptable. ( yes I am an older person now) but today’s present NBA is in really good shape. Great teams, great games, no complaining from me.
