With the 2nd pick in the Ultimate NBA Re-Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves select… Magic Johnson from Michigan State University!

    Results:

    Johnson: 5

    Shaq: 3

    Lebron and Jabbar: 2

Duncan, Iverson, Bird, and Olajuwan: 1

Remember: All players are welcome, current and retired. So don’t base that off of anything.

    Draft Order (so far)

    Clippers: Michael Jordan

    Timberwolves: Magic Johnson

The Memphis Grizzlies are now on the clock.

Lebron James, do everything focal point for the team to rely on. In the second and third rounds they can always go for a shooter to team him up with. If Dirk is still available in the second he would be a great pick, the early 30s might be too high for Ray Allen but as possibly the greatest shooter in league history there’s no way Jesus Shuttlesworth would last until the third round so he might be worth it at #33. I suppose if this draft is going to snake, then the Grizz wouldn’t have their second rounder till #58.

More dominant bigs and point guards  than their are do everything wings. Gives versatility and options for future picks. Can go big or shooters as long as they play D. Not looking to fill roster with Kevin Loves and Kyrie Irving types who are only stars on one side of the court.

I’d have to go with Kareem here with the big mans offense/defence potential.

Also, would it be better to do a couple picks a day? That way we could actually formulate teams in the long run (which I think would be a fun and interesting thing to do).

I was thinking the same thing, maybe after pick #5, start doing two a day, then after pick #15, 3 a day.

Maybe second round, 5 a day.

After a while we’ll have to start listing all the players already drafted as well, so people don’t try to redraft them.

I’ve always been interested in seeing an NBADraftNet forums all time top 100 especially after seeing Simmons top 100 years ago and ESPN’s just this year.

I was planning on making all 30 NBA Teams I thought it’d be kinda cool. But I was gonna get all of your opinions on a separate forum.

But if there are no nays… then yeah. We’ll formulate 30 teams with all time greats. Current and Former.

        Let’s do it.

    Has to be Kareem.

Total dousche, but you gotta respect the man’s game.

It baffles me why no one else has mastered the SkyHook when its clearly the most unstoppable shot.

The only explaination is that he made it so uncool. You cant even attempt it at rec-league level without the entire court laughing at you.

Kareem. Look how long he played for, and how dominant he was. Easy.

From 1984 when Jordan entered the league to 1992 when Bird left the league the two legends played each other 28 times in the regular season and 6 times in the postseason. Bird won 17 regular season games and Jordan won 11 games yet 3 of Jordan’s wins came during the 1991-1992  season where Birds injury plagued back was in full effect. Bird won 6 of 6 playoff matchups.

Jordan may forever be known as the greatest player of all time but the facts remain that Bird is Jordan’s daddy.

It’s sort of the same effect that Lebron has over Durant in today’s modern NBA era.

Bird was in his prime, well before Jordan hit his prime. Jordan’s bulls at full strength, with (shaq’s so called) great "others" never played a full strengthed celtics. This situtaion can be made for many different players…

at the end of the day, both are top 5 ever, but Jordan is the GOAT.

No argument there. Jordan is the greatest of all time but Bird is still his daddy. If they went out for lunch Bird has bragging rights and would likely let Jordan know.

They played while Bird was in his prime but also while he was declining and playing with serious injuries to his feet and back. Jordan was a budding superstar not just some developing prospect he averaged more than 30-ppg in those games.

Too good, too clutch, the ULTIMATE competitor, and he has 5 rings. I think he’s gotta be the guy.. and I hate the Lakers.
