JustSayYesParticipantCousins has as much talent and ability as anyone in the NBA, should be a top 5 player and could very well be the be best player, I recognize his ability and game, but goddamn this dude despite what he can do on the court will always be a loser. He just doesn’t get it. I’ve never seen a player pout more about calls, loaf on defense when he isn’t in the mood, and get upset about everything. The dude is always on edge, I would hate to be his teammate, talk about walking on egg shells. Think about it your best player is supposed to be your leader, and he pulls all this B.S on the court and than goes out of his way to call out his coach in postgame, yea we all know what you were talking about big man. The dude isn’t and ha never been in shape, you wanna be the man than get yo pudgy dough boy ass in the treadmill and stop eating junk food and drinking booze. Karl is an acomplished coach who’s actually been to the playoffs, something you’ve never done. Yea your team sucks, but so has Davis’s team and he got in the playoffs in yr 3. You’re a Center and shooting 44%???? WTF??? Karl has beaten cancer how dare you direspect this man, the dude is here to help you and look at your stats and game since he took over, he’s made you better. Legends like Charles Barkley try to help you but your such a whinny biiitch you refuse because he’s honest and made fair critisism about you. Yea the Kings biggest problem is their dumb mangement building a terrible team, firing coaches, so I feel ya being in a tough spot. I will say this, Cousins doesn’t have the makeup of a winner. He’s about himself, when something goes wrong he quick to blame someone else, he gives effort only when he wants. Trust me, can’t depend on him, when the going gets tough he folds, folds quicker than a lawn chair. Just watch the video from him calling out George Karl, dude’s got his headphones in like your child, grow up. Sacramento, trade this man to Boston for those 1st rd picks.
Yea, Sacramento has bigger issues, your piss-poor attitude.

CoolidgerParticipantThe way you’re talking, you’d think Cousins took the life of your first born child or something.

raybeasParticipantno one in the Karl family is calling any person a “cancer”, having gone through the disease themselves.

properbreaksParticipantHe’s been destroying the league since the addition of Rondo and Karl and they are close to the playoffs for the first time in his career. Rondo makes him better and Karl and his experience with the game makes him better.I don’t see why he would be complaining, but it seemed like he did again. I think he’s made strides with his attitude though. It was a weird fit with Karl and Rondo, but I think the worst thing that the Kings organization can do is fire yet another coach and start everything over from scratch again now that they are close to making the playoffs for the first time in around a decade.

Hype MachineI love Boogie cos hes intetesting. But all things considered, Id say that Boogie has a negative effect on his team. Its almost like he symbolises everything thats wrong with Sacramento.
I’d rather not have him on my team…hes toxic to team culture and its just the way he is. He will never change, and if I were a GM, Id say no thanks to Boogie and just see what else is out there.
Hes the ultimate ‘damned if you do and damned if you dont’ player…..id just rather be damned if I dont.

MopgrassParticipantHis resting face is nearly crying. He looks like he’s in a constant state of losing his mother. That’s not a knock on him, just a concern for the state he has to be in. He just lives turmoil. It’s not a fun state to be in and not a fun state to be around.
He really waited for the right time to call out Karl: at a frustrating time in a losing streak. Funny enough, I think George Karl and Rondo have been good for him. Now they’re talking about firing Karl, though at times, this looks like the best Kings team in years. Vivek Ranadive is really standing behind Cousins here as his crown jewel. If they fire Karl and Cousins doesn’t ever help them to get to playoffs, Ranadive looks like one of the dumbest owners in the league.
To me, this is a more interesting test for the owner than the player who refuses to learn from his mistakes or the coach that can’t get rid of him.

phila9012ParticipantI am surprised cousins turned out this good. The atmosphere around the kings has been negative for a while now. They keep changing coaches(they are on their fifth head coach since Cousins was drafted and that could become 6), and blowing picks. stauskas, jimmer, robinson and mclemore are 4 of their 5 first round picks they have had since they drafted cousins. Cousins should be upset, they have done nothing for him. Throw Cousins on a solid team like the wizards or the celtics and he would compete for a championship. He has it in him, he just needs good people around him for once.

ThenilonatorParticipantI agree with the opening poster 100%. It pi$$es me off watching a guy with so much talent just expect everything and carry on like a spoilt brat! I disagree that if you put him on a good team he competes for a championship, I couldn’t help but think if any player with championship experience or aspirations would tear him apart at training and he would be demanding a trade.
